Game 2 of the Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks series is set to go tonight as the Blackhawks look to even things up. If you don’t have an appetite for betting the game, puckline or total, we’ve got some NHL betting props for you to down below that offer some good value:

Frederik Andersen: Over 29.5 saves
I’m expecting the Chicago Blackhawks to come out guns a blazing in this one, which means that we’re likely to see a much better offensive effort from them. They had 33 shots in Game 1 but that didn’t cut the mustard. Andersen stopped 32 of them. More importantly, I think we’re going to see a more consistent effort from the Blackhawks as they had 16 shots in the first period but only 17 shots in the final two frames. For them to get the win, they are going to have to come out and be aggressive and they are going to have to maintain that throughout the game. Keep in mind that the Blackhawks have averaged 32.2 shots per game this postseason. That means more work for Andersen and that means an over on this prop.

NHL Pick: Over 29.5 Saves

Who Will Record More Points In Game 2?
Brad Richards, Matt Beleskey Or Tie

In this prop, I think Matt Beleskey has to be the play at +175. I’d rather get a push if they tie but unfortunately, Bovada is only offering a three-way line. At any rate, Richards had the Blackhawks only point in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final, but you have to play the averages here. Prior to that, Richards had registered just four points in his previous 10 playoff games. That means this whole postseason, he’s chipped in just five points. While Beleskey had a quiet first round with zero points, he actually enters Game 2 of the Conference Final on a six-game point streak. He has five goals and one assist in that span. Given that streak, he’s the play here at +175 on the NHL betting odds.

NHL Pick: Beleskey

Who Will Record More Points In Game 2?
Marian Hossa, Ryan Kesler Or Tie

Although Ryan Kesler has nine points this postseason, keep in mind that he had five in the opening round. He still had four in Round 2 but his role has changed in the Conference Final. He’s on the line that is paired up with Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews with the goal of shutting them down. That’s his priority; not offense. That being the case, I’ll take a shot with Hossa here. Hossa has eight points so far this postseason and he’s been blanked off the score sheet just five times (including Game 1). In three of the previous four times, Hossa rebounded with at least one point. That being the case, I’m going to side with him for my NHL picks here. You get him at +155, which is a reasonable price considering Kesler’s role and that you’d only get +150 on him.

NHL Pick: Hossa
