Sports handicapper Ian Cameron provides an NHL Early Lines Report for the hockey card taking place on Tuesday, November 22, and examines an Eastern Conference matchup between the Flyers and Panthers on NHL game picks.

Philadelphia Flyers At Florida Panthers

The Flyers have been able to score goals, but they’ve also had trouble giving up too many on NHL odds. Philly is ranked 5th in the NHL in goals scored per game in averaging 3.2 goals per contest, but they are 30th in the NHL in goals allowed per game surrendering 3.4 goals per game. Philadelphia has a good power play, which has been even better on the road as the Flyers have scored 7 goals in their last 26 power play opportunities away from home.

Florida returns home following a four-game northeastern road trip, and I think this is the kind of spot where the Panthers may see their recent defensive play decline just a bit and look to open things up a bit offensively. Philadelphia has allowed at least 3 goals in 7 of its past 10 games, and Florida will get another weapon back in their lineup in terms of scoring prowess as Nick Bjugstad is expected to make his season debut returning from a hand injury.

Each of the two previous meetings in south Florida between the Flyers and Panthers has soared 'over' the total and I expect to see a similar result here.
