Sunday’s card in the NHL only features six games. Two of them off the board and another is singled out in an individual feature, means we’ve got the remaining three covered in our daily hockey picks.

NHL Betting: Sunday Picks

Record: 35-43 (-671)

Los Angeles Kings at Detroit Red Wings

At this point, can anyone trust the Los Angeles Kings to score enough to get to an over for their NHL picks? They were shutout in their most recent contest but maybe they are set to bounce back. As much as the Kings have struggled to win this season, they have still scored an average of 3.2 goals per game in their five previous contests.

With a total of five on Sunday, look for the Kings and Red Wings to get at least a push, if not an over.

New Jersey Devils at Pittsburgh Penguins

The New Jersey Devils and Pittsburgh Penguins finish up their home-and-home series on Sunday. The Pens were handled 3-1 in New Jersey on Saturday and now they’ll get a shot at revenge.

However, the Pens have not been a good home team at 2-2 while the Devils have struggled on the road at 2-1-2. Instead, we’ll go for the over as we should see at least five goals in this game with both teams playing a back-to-back.

Tampa Bay Lightning at New York Rangers

The Tampa Bay Lightning have hit a bit of a wall as they’ve lost three straight after starting the season 6-1-0. One of those three losses was at home to the New York Rangers – the very team they face on Sunday.

The Rangers are a modest -135 favorite on the NHL odds boards and they’re probably worth the price of admission. Tampa Bay is just 1-3-0 on the road while the Rangers are 4-2-0 at home this season.
