After reviewing the lines for tonight's NHL card, expert handicapper Ian Cameron finds interesting value on the Florida Panthers-Chicago Blackhawks matchup. Read on for his exclusive NHL pick.

Florida Panthers vs Chicago Blackhawks

This is a brutal spot for Chicago returning for first home game after a grueling 7 game road trip. Not sure the energy or legs will be there for the Blackhawks tonight and they will likely be without Jonathan Toews once again. He didn't participate in the morning skate today. This is Florida's first game since former head coach Gerard Gallant was fired on Sunday with GM Tom Rowe taking over behind the bench for the rest of the season. Florida players liked Gerard Gallant, but most players on NHL teams worry about their spot on the team and the roster when a new coach shows up and want to make a statement for the new bench boss so I'd expect the Panthers to play with a lot of urgency and be very motivated here. Chicago is 1-3 in their last 4 home games since 2011 when returning home from their extended November circus road trip showing a pattern of tripping up in this very spot. For my NHL pick, I expect Florida to take advantage and pull off the mild upset win.
