There are just four games in the NHL on Monday and the good news for you is we’ve got rundowns on all of them for your hockey picks. Check out the Phoenix Coyotes-Los Angeles Kings preview, which is separated off, and below we’ve got analysis on the other three games on the card.
The Wild are a tough team to ride with for your NHL picks these days as they’ve dropped four of five. All of those losses have come by one goal but there’s a good chance that they lose by more than that on Monday. For starters, three of those four Wild losses came at home. On top of that, they came to teams like Edmonton and Columbus, who are not in the same type of caliber as Boston.
The Bruins winning streak has now hit eight games and they’ve won six of those by two goals or more. I’ll take them with my sports picks and bank on that happening once more.

Vancouver Canucks vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
The Canucks continue to slump their way to the end of the season and their next stop will be in Tampa Bay. The Lightning had been in a funk of their own with a five-game losing streak earlier in March, but it appears that they are through it as they’ve won two straight.
I’ll take the under in this game as the Canucks have scored just 21 goals (in 13 games) since the start of February while the Lightning allow just 2.54 goals per game at home, which is 10th-best in the NHL.

Winnipeg Jets vs. St. Louis Blues
This is simply a matchup of two teams heading in opposite direction. The Jets are sinking quickly with losses in six straight. They have allowed at least three goals in each of those losses. As for the Blues, they’re hot with wins in seven of eight. They’ve allowed two goals or less in seven of those eight games.
I’m not going to lay all of that juice but what I will do is lay the puck line. These two teams are simply at opposite ends of the spectrum right now.
