Will the Tampa Bay Lightning finally clinch a playoff spot while moving into the top spot in the Atlantic Division? Check inside for our prediction and NHL pick.

We haven't heard this much over his career but ben Bishop has stepped up to inform his teammates that he doesn't appreciate their recent struggles after being shutout by the Montreal Canadiens, 3-0, Thursday. Some of his frustration may be coming from the fact that he was rumored to be moved to a contender at the trade deadline but General Manager Steve Yzerman decided to keep his star player.

Ben Bishop also voiced their displeasure after the loss and both vowed that this week game will be different. Okay, I'll bite. This will be their final regular season home game against the Devils who have all but been eliminated. This could spiral out of control if the Lightning fails to cash in here.

Tampa Bay Lighting Preview
Tampa was looking good a short time ago as they stared at a six game home stand. After totaling 13 goals to win their first two games to catch the Panthers, they scored just five goals in dropping two of the nest three. They have been outscored 8-2 in their last two games including a heavy 5-2 loss to the Panthers.

A victory tonight in this interesting NHL match, could not only put them in a first place tie with Florida if the Panthers drop their game against Montreal in regulation but it will also seal up a tie breaker advantage by way of having more victories.

Stamkos is certainly pointing the finger as someone after he said stated that if you're not giving the effort you're letting your teammates down. His comments could have been pointing at the depth guys at center because non of them played earning that position a minus 7 for the game. Tyler Johnson was a -3 and dropped 9 of his 13 face-off attempts.

Tampa Bay Lightning Sneak Peek
Remember in March after Tampa dropped five of six he called his team "fragile". This seems like a guy who knows that he won't be wearing the Lightning sweater next season so he is doing and saying whatever he can now to motivate his team without worry of future backlash. After his comments Tampa responded by winning their next three, which made the reach a higher ranked in the NHL odds boards.

Bishop got in the act by saying "There are allot of guys talking the talk but not walking the walk". Bishop has gone 11-3-1 with a 1.67 goals against average in his last 15 games. He has four shutouts in that span and has blanked the Devils in two of his last three attempts including 4-0 in the two teams only meeting this season. The Devils managed only 21 shots on Bishop in the loss. He owns a sparkling 1.26 GAA in his career against New Jersey.

Final Overview
This is a critical win to get with the Lightning heading to road for their last four games. While watching the last time these two teams met it seemed like Tampa was able to easily shut down the Devils attempt to access the offensive zone so let's ride the Lightning even at a higher price as our NHL pick.
