The Vegas Golden Knights get a chance to punch their ticket to the Western Conference Final when they visit the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday night. Despite being the only game on Sunday, this matchup provides plenty of opportunities to line your pockets with some extra sweet, sweet cash. Read on for our NHL best bets for Sunday based on the top NHL odds from our best sportsbooks.

It’s do-or-die time for the Oilers.

Unlike the fallen Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton’s biggest stars have been delivering on the score sheet thus far during the postseason. But that hasn’t stopped the Oilers from being pushed to the brink. The Oilers fell 4-3 despite a two-goal effort from Connor McDavid in Game 5. Jack Eichel notched a goal and two assists, while goaltender Adin Hill made 31 saves to secure the win for the Golden Knights.

Edmonton and Vegas have been alternating wins and losses through five games, and the Oilers hope that trend continues on Sunday night. Hill is expected to be between the pipes again for the Golden Knights, while Stuart Skinner—who was pulled in favor of Jack Campbell in Game 5 after giving up four goals on 22 shots—will likely patrol the crease for the Oilers.

Here are our best Golden Knights-Oilers picks for Sunday (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Sunday’s NHL player prop picks

Player Prop: Pietrangelo Over 2.5 blocked shots (-130 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pietrangelo sat out Game 5 after viciously slashing Leon Draisaitl in the waning moments of Game 4, and he's now set to return to the Golden Knights’ blue line on Sunday night.

Pietrangelo leads Vegas with 28 blocked shots across nine postseason games, good for 3.1 blocks per contest. He’s topped the three-block plateau twice in four contests against Edmonton, including a ridiculous seven-block effort in Game 1.

Since not all of our best live betting sites offer odds on blocks, your ideal approach is to snatch this line up at DraftKings (-130). bet365 is featuring this bet at -140, and Caesars Sportsbook is posting it at -135.

Player Prop: Marchessault Over 3.5 shots on goal (+102 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This bet is a definite no-brainer because of how frequently Marchessault is launching frozen rubber. Marchessault has opened up a shooting gallery over five games against the Oilers while averaging 5.6 shots per game, with his shot total never dipping below four.

Most sportsbooks are listing this bet at around -100 to -115, so this is an absolute steal at plus money through FanDuel. You can also grab it at +100 via bet365.

Sunday’s NHL game picks

Moneyline: Oilers (-182 via FanDuel) vs. Golden Knights ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Although they lean heavily on their vaunted power play that's connecting at a 41% clip in the series, the Oilers haven’t been completely outclassed at five-on-five. They're outpacing the Golden Knights in Corsi for percentage while finishing close behind in expected goals for (8.12 to Vegas’ 8.92).

When adjustments are made for all situations, Edmonton is the superior team in Corsi for percentage, expected goals for, expected goals against, and expected goals for percentage. Getting back to that terrifying man-advantage situation, the Oilers are averaging 4.4 power-play opportunities per game against Vegas. Edmonton is going to make the Golden Knights pay if Vegas can't stay out of the box on Sunday.

A favorite at virtually all of our best sports betting sites, the best place to back the Oilers on the moneyline is through FanDuel (-182).
