Our NHL consultant details his three top totals picks on tonight’s huge card. Join us in reading his takes on each of these totals which are all supported by very successful NHL betting systems.

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Minnesota Wild 8:05 PM ET
Total:
5.5
The Chicago Blackhawks are coming off a 2-0 loss at San Jose in their previous game. This will be just the fifth game in the last fifteen days for Chicago, and it will also be their fifth straight contest on the road. The Minnesota Wild returns home tonight after playing their previous four games on the road. All of the above data creates two betting systems pertaining to the total.

Any team (Chicago) coming off a road loss in which they were shutout, and they will be playing in their fifth game or less over the last fourteen days, has seen that team go under the total in 33 of those 43-games (76.7%) during the past five seasons.

Any home team (Minnesota) that’s coming off three consecutive road games, versus an opponent (Chicago) coming off four consecutive road games, has seen 96 of 150-games (64%) go under the total since 1996.

Free NHL Pick: Play on Chicago and Minnesota to go under the total of 5.5 at 5Dimes.

Colorado Avalanche vs. Dallas Stars 8:35 PM ET
Total:
5.5
The Dallas Stars are allowing an average of 3.08 goals per game this season. The Stars are coming off two consecutive wins by scores of 5-2 at Winnipeg and 6-3 at Ottawa. This sets up a very profitable betting system on the total that I will utilize when making one of my NHL picks for today.

Any home team (Dallas) with a total of 5.5, playing in the second half of the season, allowing 2.85 or more goals per game, and they scored 5-goals or more in each of their previous two games, has seen that home team go under the total in 34 of those 43-games (79.1%) since 1996.

Free NHL Pick: Play on Colorado and Dallas to go under the total of 5.5 at Bovada.

Carolina Hurricanes vs. Anaheim Ducks 10:35 PM ET
Total: 5.0

The Anaheim Ducks are coming off losses of 6-3 to San Jose and 4-1 versus Chicago in their previous two games. The Ducks are averaging 2.94 goals per game this season. Those results qualify for a very straightforward and successful betting system in regards to the NHL odds total in this contest.

Any home team (Anaheim) that’s averaging 2.85 or more goals per game, playing in the second half of the season, and they allowed 4-goals or more in each of their previous two games, has seen that home team go under the total in 55 of those 80-games (68.8%) during the past five seasons.

Free NHL Pick: Play on Carolina and Anaheim to go under the total of 5.0 at Pinnacle.
