Goaltenders to take center stage in game six but does that translate into two consecutive ‘unders’. Keep reading as Champion handicapper Dana Lane gives you another postseason ‘total’ winner.

Now we’re heating up as my readers crushed another plus money winner with the Edmonton Oilers after their elimination of the San Jose Sharks Saturday night. As you can see, our record isn’t quite what you’d like it to be but if you manage your money properly you can still profit as we’ve done so far. Overall, we’re just under 19 units for the season.

We’re heading over to the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario where the Washington Capitals own a 3-2 edge over the Toronto Maple Leafs in the best of seven series.  Game time is 7:00 ET/4:00 PT.  You can watch the game on NBC, TVAS, and SN in Canada.

Also, keep checking SBR's NHL Odds page throughout the day to take advantage of all the NHL’s best available lines.

A few trends stick out to support tonight’s selection.

The ‘under’ is 12-4-2 in the Capitals last 18 Eastern Conference games while the ‘under’ is 21-7 when the Leafs score two goals or less in their previous game.

I’m anticipating that the Leafs will play a tight checking game in an effort to create turnovers.  If they do this it will aid their transition game which will keep them in this series.  They must put pressure on the Capitals point men, eliminating any room that Washington has to maneuver in the offensive zone.

From a special teams perspective the Capitals have kept the potent Leafs power play in check. In game five Toronto went 0-4 on the man advantage placing them 9th in the playoffs with just three special team goals. The key for our ‘under’ is for Mike Babcocks team to play a disciplined brand of hockey while winning the extra attacker game.  Toronto can’t force a game seven killing off penalty’s.

Toronto will hang in there tonight in a close game six while we’ll cash another wager on the ‘under’.
