Final Analysis
The Rangers are at -110 on the NHL odds board while the Red Wings are at -110 and the total has been set at 5.

Detroit needs this win more as they try to create separation in the playoff standings and New York's record at Joe Louis Arena isn't encouraging. Add to this the fact that this is an early game and the Red Wings certainly have the edge at home. I like Detroit to find a way to get back on the right track and beat New York. I'm taking the Red Wings with my NHL picks.
