With 11 NHL odds choices on the ice for Thursday, this should be an excellent chance for all of us to put together a perfect day and start our winning roll going!

Or we could pass and let him work on his own issues while we keep trying to build our bankrolls with against the NHL odds. We did pick up some extra cash last evening with Colorado handling Montreal as expected and we did not even need the two power play goals from Minnesota and Calgary, as they blew by the total with eight goals. Our only setback was the New York Rangers getting into higher scoring game with Chicago, which they would be unlikely to win and that proved true.

Today our three NHL picks will involve three of the hottest teams in the league over their last 10 games and each will be playing on the road.

Dallas Has Too Many Stars for Phoenix
Coyotes tend to be more nocturnal animals, roaming at night in packs seeking prey. The Arizona Coyotes (26-30 SU) will be playing after dark but the oddsmakers have them listed as the sacrifice, taking on Dallas (37-21 SU). The Stars wrap up their post All-Star schedule which had them playing seven road games out of nine, which was considered problematic having lost eight in a row prior to this. However, the Stars have made a defensive commitment and have gone 5-0-1 thus far, picking up at least one point in each contest and are just one point behind first place Chicago in the Central.

Arizona had the exact opposite schedule of Dallas, playing seven of nine on home ice, but have dropped  three of the first five in Glendale. The Coyotes problem all season has been defense and they rank 27th in goals allowed at 3.04. With Dallas second in the NHL in scoring at 3.21 GAG, it appears the Stars have too many scorers for Arizona to contain. Dallas opened as a -150 road favorite and is 14-4 away after playing two consecutive road games the last two seasons.

Washington Places New York on Island
Most times this season, Washington (41-14 SU) would be a top pick, but the New York Islanders (30-25) have good squad and they have been especially effective in their new home in Brooklyn, where they are 19-11 SU. Most sportsbooks checked have the Capitals as very small road favorite which his saying something because they have won 20 of 28 away games.

Why Washington looks the part of the winner is just not being the best team, it is two of their finest players are studs against New York. Alex Ovechkin has 48 points in last 46 meetings against the Islanders (30 goals) and goalie Braden Holtby has 12-4-2 record with a 1.94 goals-against average and he's been even sharper of late with 1.30 GAA and 5-1 mark. When the Caps have faced teams with win percentage of 51 to 60 percent this season like New York, they are 12-1.

Anaheim Vanquishes Vancouver
The last 10 games tells everyone what you need to know about these Pacific Division partners. Anaheim (29-27 SU) is 8-1-1 and looks to wrap up seven-game road trip with 5-2 SU record. Vancouver (22-34 SU) is 3-5-2 and has dropped five consecutive home games, leading to miserable 9-17 SU record at Rogers Arena.

In the midst of a 17-4-2 stretch, the Ducks have scored 11 goals in their last two games and are averaging 4.1 GAG during a 7-1-1 road run which has taken them from last in scoring to 26th at 2.39. One of the teams Anaheim has passed in scoring was the Canucks, who are 29th at 2.3 GAG and are even worse on home ice at 2.2. Vancouver is a +125 underdog and their defense has allowed 18 goals in those five home setbacks and they are 6-19 after conceding five or more goals in consecutive outings.
