Expert NHL capper is ready for his play of the day. He believes Lundqvist is back in goal for the Rangers against the Stars who are still a mystery.

I would say that we're starting to really get a feel for the league as we crushed another underdog last night when the Tampa Bay Lightning easily beat the Calgary Flames.  With a win tonight my followers will establish another bankroll high.  Don't forget the 'Puck Heads' video's which we do every Tuesday and Thursday here on SBR with Mike Brenner and Scott Carter.  We've been on quite a streak winning our last six plays for just under 40 units of profit. You can take all of our suggestions and open an account with one of our approved SBR sportsbooks.

A point I made on today's 'Pucks Heads' is worthy of repeating.  We're playing with house money so there is no need to increase the amount bet.  Slow and steady wins the race.

N.Y. Rangers vs Dallas Stars

Tonight we look to the Lone Star State to cash our Thursday ticket as the New York Rangers take on the Dallas Stars. Our focus is on the 'Total' which we can find as low as -114 on the 'under' and as high as -120, you can see the importance of shopping for the best line.

If you've followed me with any regularity you know that I have been very critical of the Dallas Stars goaltending, justified by their 3.16 goals allowed per game (29th).  However, if we look a little closer Antti Niemi has not been bad when manning the pipes at the American Airlines Center.  For New York Patrick Lundqvist is back in goal after a short rest to give Antti Raanta some time to either keep him sharp or to showcase him to the rest of the league.  Regardless, it makes sense to expect a solid effort from Lundqvist who didn't seem like he was enjoying his layoff.

Niemi is in a similar situation as it's reasonable to expect a quality effort after sitting for five straight starts recently in place of Kari Lehtonen. Niemi flashed a 34 save effort Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks. Bettors can expect the best effort from both of these netminders as they both have something to prove.

Add to the mix that the Dallas Stars are feeling the pressure to have a quality homestand. They may look back to this spot in the schedule as the reason why.  They are only three points in back of Nashville but the Predators have three games in hand with Calgary having one.

Let's get the 'under' for our NHL pick, in a game with both goaltenders will be motivated to put on a show.
