What better way to start off your week with some NHL picks as I've spotted a couple of games that I think the bettor will benefit from as there is a decisive advantage.

Nashville Predators vs. New York Rangers
At 15-3-2, the New York Rangers have the best record in the league and face a Nashville Predators team who haven't managed to score a goal in their last two games despite also playing well this season at 11-5-3. New York is 9-1 in their last 10 games after having an 8 game winning streak.

In their last game the Blueshirts outlasted the Florida Panthers in overtime, 5-4. Rick Nash, finally got on track with a hat trick while Henrik Lunvdist had 39 saves. Although Florida took New York to the limit, this was a great sign as Nash had been having a terrible season and if he starts playing well, this team will be unstoppable.

Nash now has 5 goals and 8 assists this season as Mats Zucarello has carried this squad offensively on his back with 10 goals and 11 assists. Zuccarello is a +10 on the season and it's very difficult to find flaws in the Rangers hockey squad. they rank 1st in the NHL in goals allowed, thanks to the King, Henrik Lundvist and New York averages 3.1 goals per contest.

Steal Of A Deal
Although New York has had a couple of battles lately, they're a -125 betting favorite over the Predators and this is a flatout steal as this game will be played in MSG and the Predators have been "cold as ice" lately. Except for Shea Weber (6 goals, 4 assists) and James Neal (9 goals, 6 assists), Nashville doesn't have a big-time scorer despite their impressive record and now they must face the best goalie in possibly the last decade in Lundvist. New York is the easy NHL pick at these NHL odds.

NHL Pick: Rangers -135 at Pinnacle

Los Angeles Kings vs. Florida Panthers
Either the Panthers are a really bad hockey team or Jaromir Jagr is defying father time as he leads the .500 Panthers with 8 goals and 8 assists in 18 games this season. Jagr was always known as being 2nd to none where physical fitness is concerned, but this is a guy that has played with Mario Lemieux and guys that are possibly 60 years old at the present time. Folks, I'm not kidding. There's no doubt that Jagr is an all-time great, but what does that say for the rest of the Panthers when he's their leader?

Jagr has scored a point in 4 of his last 5 games and the Panthers will need it as they're 18th in the league in scoring and face Jonathan Quick, who has tasted the Cup of Lord Stanley. The Kings failed to make the playoffs last season after winning the Stanley Cup 2 years ago and Quick can be one of the toughest goalies in the NHL when he's hot. Thus far the Kings are 4th in the NHL in goals allowed, but Quick has been merely average.

Kings of the Ice
Jeff Carter (9 goals, 10 assists) and Tyler Toffoli (10 goals, 8 assists) have been outstanding and their plus/minus ratios are off the chart and that's a great indication of who are the players needed to win the game. That said, defensmen, Drew Doughty has logged almost 27 minutes per game and has been super-aggressive, dishing out 10 assists to go along with 20 penalty minutes and 55 SOG. He's definitely one of the better defensemen and players in the NHL and the Panthers offense could have a diffuclt time despite the inconsistent play of Jonathan Quick. Look for the better team (the Kings) to outhustle and outmuscle their opponent in tonight's matchup.

NHL Pick: Kings -109 at BetOnline
