The Lightning have allowed ten goals in their last two games but it’s Tampa’s inept offense that keeps this under the total says our trusted Hockey Handicapper Dana Lane.

Last night, we gave out another easy, plus money winner as the Buffalo Sabres and Detroit Red Wings went well under the total taking us one step closer to plus 20 units on the season.  The good news for us is we’re ensured that the 2016-17 regular season will be a financial success.  With most teams having just over 10 games to play we’re going to make one unit wagers the rest of the way solidifying another successful year.  Not too many cappers put their record up every day to prove their worth. Congratulations to all who followed faithfully.

Off to Amalie Arena for tonight’s match-up between the Arizona Coyotes and the Tampa Bay Lightning starting at 7:30 ET / 4:30 PT.

The betting public is all over the ‘over’s’ in just about every game on tonight’s card except Carolina and Florida and that may change before they drop the puck.

In our game 80% of all tickets written are on the ‘over’. Mostly because it’s been announced that Louis Domingue will start in net for the ‘Yotes instead of Mike Smith who started last night against Nashville.  When the public see’s that a back-up is starting the ‘over’ tickets start rolling in.

The best number we can find at SBR approved Sportsbooks is 5.5 -115, shaded to the ‘under’ at Bookmaker where they are still offering a 50% welcome bonus up to $300.

The Lightning are only four points out of the last wild card spot but that doesn’t mean we’ve see inspired hockey from them lately.  Tampa has dropped their last two games at home to Washington and Toronto while being outscored 10-3 in the process. These are games, against playoff teams, that Tampa must win when on home ice to stay alive in the playoff race.  Instead they were offensively non-existent.  Now they face the Coyotes leaving me what their compete level will be. It’s hard to envision Jon Cooper’s team putting much offense when a a much bigger game with the Bruins is two days away.  I expect both teams to struggle on offensive while cashing another ‘under’ ticket for my readers.
