The comination of the St. Louis Blues making a head coaching chance and the potential of the Candiens making a move of their own has Champion handicapper Dana Lane all over this 'total' tonight.  Read to see what side cashes the ticket tonight.

The result of the Tampa Bay Lightning-Minnesota Wild was never in doubt for us last night as we easily rushed up to the window to cash our 'under' tickets, running our February record to 5-3.

Tonight, our winner comes from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, where the Blues and the Canadiens clash in what should be at least a six-goal game.  Always make sure to find the best lines available at all SBR approved sportsbooks.

What a difference a coach makes.

The St. Louis Blues fired ken Hitchcock and handed the reigns to Mike Yeo, who was the coach in waiting.  Since, Yeo has guided the Blues to three road victories, which makes him the first coach in franchise history to win his first three road games.

The Canadiens have been basically a .500 hockey team since their 12-1-1 start and all-world goaltender, Carey Price, has looked more than beatable at times.  Perhaps this team is a little bored as they clearly have the Atlantic Division wrapped up. If Montreal gives up four goals to Colorado and Arizona, with Price in goal, what will he allow to the Blues, who are easily better than those two teams, with Montoya in net.

Their penalty kill has been horrific, ranking 23rd.  When we bet 'totals' I never want to be on a side where a team's penalty kill can't be relied on to keep the score in check.

St. Louis are experiencing some injuries and that means you'll have more players playing out of position or getting more minutes than normal. If you've followed my columns this season, you know who I like to get some 'over' tickets when guys are doing this they're not accustomed to.

There are some some strong trends that back tonight's selection.

In the Blues last 10 games against the Atlantic Division, the 'over' has cashed six times with three 'pushes'.  Even stronger is when the Blues have played on just one days rest where the 'over' is a sparkling 31-15-11.

From the Canadiens perspective the 'over' owns a 10-3-1 record when playing Western Conference teams and 7-2-3 against Central Division opponents.
