The Boston Bruins got a good bounce and now the series is tied. Is it shifting back to Boston where the Bruins are again a massive favorite on the NHL odds? Can they finally get a series lead?

The Montreal Canadiens Can Win Because…
Nothing has really changed. Although they lost Game 4, it’s not as if Boston dominated. They got a lucky bounce at the end of the game, and that was the difference in a tight affair. The Habs have held 3-1 leads in each of the first three games, and didn’t even trail in Game 4 until the contest was over.

The bottom line is you should expect the Habs to score more. They were the NHL’s leading offense this postseason prior to Game 4,and they’ve won 15 of 20 meetings with Tuukka Rask. Take them with your NHL picks.

The Boston Bruins Can Win Because…
They’re finally back on even footing. The Bruins have been fighting uphill all series long and that can take its toll. They had trailed by a score of 3-1 in Games 1, 2, and 3, but managed to change the pace in Game 4. They kept it low-scoring, with one goal making all the difference.

The key was the performance of Tuukka Rask. He had an .884 save percentage in the series before that outing. However, now that he’s back looking like a Vezina Trophy candidate, the Bruins should be in good shape in Game 5.

Outlook & Pick
The price tag here is simply too much. The Bruins are laying nearly -200, but Montreal still dominates this series. They’ve won six of the last nine matchups in Boston and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it happen again. You have to take the value here as this is a coin flip matchup but the Habs are offering a big payout.

This series is very likely going seven games but the Habs can shorten it with a win on Satruday.
