The 4-3 Rams & the 5-2 Vikings are so alike it is scary. The Vikings are 2nd in the league in points allowed, while the Rams are 4th. This is going to be a hard-hitting, smashmouth game worth betting.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -2.5 -113 at Pinnacle
The Vikings opened up as 2.5-point favorites at home but the NFL odds have dropped to -2. The Rams have won two in a row by a combined score of 51-12, and even though their opponents were Cleveland and San Francisco, both at home, that's still impressive. The Vikings have won three in a row, all by nine points or less, including two on the road, although those were in Detroit and Chicago. The storyline here, though, is in the backfield. Peterson is third in the league in rushing yards while Gurley is fifth, but the Rams' rookie is the only back in the league averaging more than 100 yards as he has only played in five games. The winner of this battle will go a long way in helping their team to victory.

The Rams don't have any major pressing injuries, not that are new anyway. You should see a full lineup for the Rams going into Minnesota.

The Vikings are also healthy coming into this game, which has a lot to do with how they're playing right now. Quietly, their 5-2 record have them in the running in the NFC North.

St. Louis have covered the spread in four of seven games this season, but just one of their three games on the road. The Vikings are 6-1 ATS this season and are one of two teams in the NFL with six ATS wins, along with Cincinnati. They're also a perfect 3-0 ATS at home. Even though the total is very low at 40 (down from 40.5), the Rams have gone under in five of their last eight; the Vikings have gone under in six of their last eight.

The Rams are 4-6 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Vikings. Only two of those games have been in Minnesota, and the Vikings are 1-1 SU and ATS.
