Week 4 of the NFL preseason is upon us and we’re back with our weekly NFL picks against the spread. Check out where we’re putting our money in this thrilling final exhibition round.

NFL Preseason Week 3 Recap
At the close of week 3 NFL betting, we emerged with our best winning record yet: 12-4-0 on our NFL picks against the spread. Only the Giants, Bears, Ravens and Rams let us down in week 3 NFL betting. The rest lived up to our NFL predictions. Yupee!

Overall, we improved to 28-18-2 through three weeks of NFL picks against the spread. In good form so, let’s get cracking with our final NFL preseason picks offering, shall we.

Buccaneers vs. Dolphins -3.5
The Dolphins may be just 1-2 SU in the preseason but when the starters have had a go, things have looked really promising. Buccaneers, meanwhile, enjoyed a rude awakening in week 3 preseason as they were crushed 31-7 by the Cleveland Browns at home, a week after they’d just clinched their first home win in two years (preseason and regular season games included). That’s how quickly the bonhomie they felt the week prior fizzles. If there was one main takeaway it’s that Jameis Winston has a long way to go in his rookie season. Take the Dolphins to wrap up the preseason on a positive note.
NFL Picks: Dolphins -3.5 (-110) at Heritage

Bengals vs. Colts +1.0
Bengals are 2-1 SU in the preseason, bouncing back from a rather humiliating loss (might we add shocking too) in Tampa Bay in week 2 NFL preseason betting. Colts are finally on the board with their first preseason win over the Rams in week 3 NFL betting. This game could go either way as neither side is putting a whole lot of stock into the preseason. Both coaches are confident in the calibre of their core group of starters, so they’re only really filling the gaps. It’s a tossup in every sense of the word, but I suppose we’re taking the Colts as the home team with the points.
NFL Picks: Colts +1.0 at BetOnline

Ravens vs. Falcons -1.0
Baltimore Ravens are coming off a rather bad 31-13 loss at home to the Redskins. It wasn’t the outcome expected across sports betting platforms, particularly when Jay Gruden was relying on backup play after RGIII suffered a concussion in week 2. Tale told, the backups really stepped up to beat the Ravens; they must want the starting job badly. In any event, it’s the preseason and the Ravens can be quietly confident. They wrap up the preseason in Atlanta, against a Falcons side that is riding a two-game losing streak just like the Ravens. Matt Ryan had a tough go of it against the Dolphins first-string defense. He’s not likely to put in too much time in week 4 NFL betting either.
NFL Picks: Ravens +1.0 (-110) at Bet365

Saints vs. Packers +1.5
Last week’s clash between the Eagles and Packers lived up to the hype, serving up a scoring feast that resulted in an Eagles win, 39=26. Unfortunately, the injury list seems to be growing in Green Bay. Only weeks after Jordy Nelson’s season-ending injury, Randall Cobb suffered a shoulder injury. It doesn’t appear to be a season-ending injury though, but one reckons Mike McCarthy is going to be especially careful in week 4 with his precious starters. Still, is it reason to send the Packers as the home underdogs against the spread? The New Orleans Saints are 0-3 SU in the preseason. They’re not really risking a whole let either when It comes to these exhibition games.
NFL Picks: Packers +1.5 at Pinnacle

Eagles vs. Jets +4.0
Eagles, Eagles, Eagles, all the way. Seriously, Chip Kelly looks like a genius right now, picking up Sam Bradford and Tim Tebow, all while keeping Mark Sanchez. The Eagles have lit up the scoreboard in each and every game. The Jets’ defense will be a real test for their offense, but if they take the momentum behind their three-game winning streak, which includes scoring a whopping 115 points, they should ride roughshod over the Jets. Fittingly, they are the 4-point road faves in early NFL betting markets.
NFL Picks: Eagles -4.0 (-110) at The Greek

Jaguars vs. Redskins -4.5
Redskins quarterback controversy alone suggests they are the smart NFL pick. With RGIII out with a concussion the starting job is up for grabs. Kirk Cousins is doing his best to win that job after a standout deposit in week 3 over the Ravens. Take the Redskins at home as the 4.5-point faves.
NFL Picks: Redskins -4.5 at Heritage

Panthers vs. Steelers -1.0
The Panthers are coming off a narrow 17-16 loss to the Patriots in week 3 NFL betting while the Steelers were overwhelmed by the Bills 43-19 on the road. That said the game featured the debut of Michael Vick as the Steelers’ new backup, and by all accounts he didn’t disappoint. Will be interesting to see what he does in week 4 preseason action, as he’s sure to get more snaps. Steelers as the 1-point home faves should be able to deliver.
NFL Picks: Steelers -1.0 at JustBet

Bills vs. Lions EVEN
This should be one very interesting game given how well the Bills have accounted in the preseason for their new coach Rex Ryan. On the defensive side of the ball they’ve been solid. On the offensive side of the ball they’ve been frighteningly good.  Buffalo Bills go into this game looking to wrap up the preseason on a positive note. As it is, the game is settled on EVEN in spread betting, meaning it’s a tossup. There’s a lot to like about the Lions and they will be playing at home, which should give them a slight edge. That said there are Bills players playing for their lives and a spot in Rex Ryan’s new scheme. Perhaps they’ll get the job done under the dome.
NFL picks: Bills EVEN (-110) at BetCRIS

Giants vs. Patriots -2.5
NY Giants have been rather blasé in the preseason. Last week, they were overrun by the Jets in a 28-18 loss. The Patriots need to get ready for the regular season in order to be in the best position to win games if Tom Brady sits on the side-lines and serves the four-game suspension.
NFL Pick: Patriots -2.5

Browns vs. Bears -1.0
Browns won their first game of the preseason in week 3 NFL betting. They beat the Buccaneers 31-17 on the road. Not to take anything away from the performance, we are talking about the Buccaneers, right? A side that is deep into growing pains with a rookie quarterback Jameis Winston. The John Fox-inspired Bears have been rather solid in the preseason all things being considered. It’s not going to be easy for the Browns to flee the windy city with a winning performance.
NFL Picks: Bears -1 at William Hill

Texans vs. Cowboys EVEN
Houston Texans have been playing above their heads in the preseason with team decisions on the line from the quarterback position and onwards have to be made. Most recently, they are after beating the Saints 27-13 on the road, covering as the 3.5-point road underdogs. Look for the Texans to take it to the Cowboys, who really haven’t been at all bothered by the exhibition games as they are 3-0 SU.
NFL Picks: Texans EVEN

Vikings vs. Titans -2.5
Minnesota Vikings are a side that appear to be in mid-season form. They are riding the momentum of a four-game winning streak into the last round of the preseason. The Titans are there for the taking. How they managed to open as the 2.5-point faves on the NFL odds board beggars belief.
NFL Picks: Vikings +2.5 at Bet365

Chiefs vs. Rams -3.0
The Chiefs have been raising some eyebrows in the preseason. They are a perfect 3-0 SU at the expense of some solid opposition. Look for them to wrap up the preseason on a positive note against the Rams, who haven’t been taking too many risks in the preseason and fielding mainly second and third string line-ups. Chiefs as the 3-point underdogs is just too good to skip on our NFL picks.
NFL Picks: Chiefs +3.0 at Bet365

Cardinals vs. Broncos -3.5
Denver Broncos will look to wrap up the preseason with a perfect 4-0 record when they host the Arizona Cardinals in week 4 NFL betting. Brock Osweller has been superb for the Broncos and he’ll probably look to close his account on a high. It’s probably his last chance to call the shots, unless Peyton Manning can’t play. Cardinals may be just 1-2 SU in the preseason but coach of the year Bruce Arians is probably not too concerned. He knows what he has at his disposal. This is the last chance for players to make the team.
NFL Picks: Broncos -3.5

Chargers vs. Niners -3.0
Chargers have shown plenty of gumption in the preseason while the Niners haven’t quite shown up for their games. Based on what we’ve seen in the preseason from both teams the only reason the Niners are the faves is because they are hosting this game. Still, a 3-point spread seems a bit much since they’ve been shabby on both sides of the ball. The Charges have to be the NFL pick.
NFL Picks: Chargers +3.0 at Heritage

Raiders vs. Seahawks -3.0
Raiders are going to be hard pressed to close their preseason on a positive note at CenturyLink Field. Colour the NFL world shocked if they pull off the upset. Seahawks all the way.
NFL Picks: Seahawks -3.0 The Greek
