The Tennessee Titans haven't won back-to-back games since the end of the 2013 season. They have a chance to do just that Sunday as they host fellow 1-1 team, Oakland. The game is a pick'em on NFL odds with a total of 46.5.

Raiders What To Watch For
I was half wrong and half right last week in Oakland. The Raiders were 4-point favorites at SBR's best sportsbooks with a total 47.5 in their home opener against the Atlanta Falcons. I picked the Raiders to cover and the 'over' -- they lost 35-28. Down 35-21, Derek Carr hit Andre Holmes on a 6-yard TD pass with 2:12 left to pull within a touchdown. With the two-minute warning and three-time outs left, Raiders coach Jack Del Rio opted to kickoff deep instead of an onside try. Alas, the Raiders couldn't stop the Falcons from getting a first down and running out the clock. Carr had a nice game, going 34-for-45 for 299 yards and three touchdowns without a pick. Latavius Murray had 57 yards rushing and a touchdown.

But that Raiders defense, despite the presence of the incredible Khalil Mack, has been torched the first two weeks by the Saints and Falcons. You aren't going to win often allowing 34.5 points (30th in NFL) and 517.5 yards per game (32nd). Oakland is the first time since the 1967 Falcons to allow more than 500 yards of offense in each of its first two games. That unit was supposed to be much improved this year with the free-agent additions of pass rusher Bruce Irvin, cornerback Sean Smith and safety Reggie Nelson. Mack, who was named a Pro Bowler at the end and outside linebacker last year, an NFL first, has mostly been a non-factor. Del Rio says he expects to use the first-round pick Karl Joseph, a safety from West Virginia, for the first time on defense in this game. He has been limited to 16 special-teams snaps.

The Raiders are 5-0-1 ATS on NFL betting odds in their past six Week 3 games.

Titans What To Watch For
Tennessee won three games last year and just two in 2014. Its last back-to-back wins were Week 16 of 2013 in Jacksonville (20-16) and Week 17 at home vs. Houston (16-10).

I may have to predict the Titans to score 16 points this week. They did in Week 1 but lost 25-16 at home to Minnesota despite not allowing an offensive touchdown. And they did last week in Detroit but won 16-15, rallying from a 15-3 fourth-quarter deficit. Marcus Mariota hit veteran receiver Andre Johnson on a 9-yard TD pass on fourth down with 1:13 left. Johnson now has a TD reception with three different teams (Houston, Indianapolis, Tennessee) is one of only five players in NFL history to accomplish the feat. The Titans had lost five games in a row dating to last season. It was only the fourth time in the Titans era and the first time since 2006 that the team won a game after trailing by 10 or more points entering the fourth quarter.

The Tennessee defense has played very well thus far. It has allowed six possessions inside the 20-yard line and just one touchdown (17.9 percent rate). Last year the defense allowed foes a TD on 62.3 percent of their drives that reached the red zone.

The Titans are 6-22-1 ATS on NFL picks in their past 29 following an ATS win.

Oakland Raiders vs. Tennessee Titans
Tennessee's three-game winning streak against Oakland ended in Week 12 in Nashville last year as the Raiders prevailed 24-21. Carr threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Seth Roberts with 1:21 to play. That winning drive was extended thanks to a fourth-down defensive holding penalty. Carr threw for 330 yards and three scores as the Raiders won for only the second time in seven trips to Tennessee. Mariota had three TD passes but was only 17-for-37 for 218 yards and two interceptions.

Go Raiders and 'over' for your NFL week 3 predictions. Oakland is 4-0 ATS in its past four road games. The 'over' is 6-0 in the Raiders' past six in September. The 'over' is 4-1 in the Titans' past five.
