It’s already the second week of the NFL season and with a ton of games comes a ton of prop betting value. I have a pair ready for release from Bovada sportsbook, both of which hold a ton of NFL Odds value.

Cardinals vs. Colts O/U 5 ½ sacks

Even with Jacoby Brissett more than likely starting this one for the Colts, there could be some ugly offensive line play from both teams. The Colts have lost several o-lineman from training camp to the first week of the season, and with Scott Tolzien under center they gave up four sacks to Tolzien alone.

That was without Aaron Donald as well, and they are facing off against another good defensive front seven that could easily rack up three or four sacks on Brissett. The fact that Brissett is in there and should be trying to extend plays makes this even better if the Card’ pass rushers can get to him.

Another factor in all of this is the Cards’ O-line. Mike Iupati is out for this game, which is bad news for Arizona, and potentially just as bad news is D.J. Humphries is also out for this one. That’s two of Arizona’s best lineman, and along with the injury to David Johnson, the Cardinals will have to throw the ball, even against this bad Colts’ secondary.

That is simply more opportunity for a Colts defense that should be playing with a chip on their shoulder from last week. Indianapolis spent money on this defensive front this offseason, and they should come to play in their home opener.

I’m expecting both teams to have at least 3 sacks a piece in this one, making the OVER a great option for our NFL picks on Sunday afternoon.

My Pick: OVER 5 ½ (-115) @ Bovada

Eagles vs. Chiefs – Score in first 6:30 of the 1st quarter

The Chiefs’ offense looked amazing against the Patriots in the opening game of the season, and I don’t have much to say they won’t do it early and often against the Eagles in Week 2.

On the flip side, Carson Wentz and the Eagles are going to be well prepared for this game going against Andy Reid. These two head coaches know each other very well, and I can guarantee they will both try some new stuff on offense early in the game.

This is especially true for the Eagles coming in on the road in this one. The Chiefs’ defense is solid but not unbeatable, and with Eric Barry out for this one, that adds enough value to the Eagles’ ability for a quick score for me to take the chalk on this one.

My Pick: Yes (-145) @ Bovada
