The Advanced Lines for Week 2 have been released at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook and there are some pretty decent games on the slate, including an interconference meeting between future Hall of Famers Tom Brady of the Patriots and Drew Brees of the Saints.
The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has released its NFL Regular Season Week 2 Advanced (or Early) Lines on Tuesday afternoon and one of the more intriguing matchups on the schedule is an early season AFC South showdown between the Titans and Jaguars in Jacksonville (CBS, 1 pm ET/10 am PT; TEN -2½, Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook Advanced Line) with the loser definitely in a bad spot in mid-September in the second “real” game for first-year Jacksonville Head Coach Doug Marrone. Last year, Marcus Mariota (5-10 ATS Road) and Tennessee (9-7 SU, 7-9 ATS in 2016) went 1-1 SU/ATS last season with both sides winning and covering at Home (TEN 36-22 JAX, JAX 38-17 TEN). Somewhat surprisingly, Blake Bortles (10-8 ATS vs. AFC South) and the Jaguars (3-13 SU, 7-8-1 ATS) are 9-3-1 ATS L13 vs. Tennessee and a sparkly 5-0-1 ATS L6 at Home at EverBank Field.
Also on tap, Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots (+385 to win Super Bowl, 5Dimes) head to The Big Easy and New Orleans on Sept. 17 to face Drew Brees and the Saints (CBS, 1 pm ET/10 am PT; NE -6½) in a fun matchup between two of the NFL’s all-time great QBs. The Saints and 11th-year Head Coach Sean Payton (91-76-3 ATS) are 7-2 ATS L9 vs. New England and 3-0 ATS L3 at Home vs. the Patriots, although these two teams seldom meet in the Regular Season, the last time in the 2013 season when Rob Gronkowski and the Patriots won 30-27 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, barely covering as 2½-point favorites (51).
Also on the docket in what should be an exciting NFL Week 2 is a non-conference meeting in Denver (4-0 SU in NFL Preseason) between Von Miller and the Broncos and Dak Prescott and the Cowboys (FOX, 4:25 pm ET/1:25 pm PT; DAL -1½) in a game in which Dallas RB Ezekiel Elliott will be missing (barring legal intervention) due to his 6-game Suspension. Dallas (14/1 to win Super Bowl, Bovada) is a profit-sucking 2-9 ATS its L9 meetings with the Broncos with the Rocky Mountains Altitude and the thin air likely helping the hosts, although they had dudes named John Elway and Peyton Manning at QB for some of those games. The Sunday Night Football game for NFL Week 2 sees gunslinger Matt Ryan and the Falcons hosting gunslinger Aaron Rodgers and the Packers (NBC, 8:30 pm ET/5:30 pm PT, ATL -3) at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta while the Monday Night Football offering from The Football Gods sees Eli Manning and the Giants hosting Matthew Stafford and the Lions (5-1 ATS L6 vs. NYG, 3-0 ATS at NY) from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ (ESPN, 8:30 pm ET/5:30 pm PT, NYG -6).
So with NFL Week 1 kicking off with a Thursday Night Football meeting between the Patriots and Chiefs (NE -8, 48, BookMaker), here are all of your opening Advanced Point Spreads for the 16 games for NFL Regular Season Week 2 (including a massive 15½ point spread set in the Raiders-Jets game in Oakland) followed by a foursome of selections from SBRPicks.com this very niche NFL marketplace.
