We went through week 17's NFL odds board in search of the best SU, ATS and total picks. Find out where we shine our spotlight for each respective NFL betting market.

Best SU Pick: Cowboys over Redskins
The Dallas Cowboys emerge as the best road team in the NFL through 16 weeks of NFL betting. They are a perfect 7-0 SU (6-1 ATS) on the road with a 9.6-point margin of victory, looking to wrap up the season with an undefeated mark on their travels. And the matchup with the Redskins (4-11) is, arguably, theirs to win or lose.

Redskins may be after a fortunate 27-24 win over the Eagles on Saturday, their first win behind RGIII at quarterback this season. But in beating the Eagles, the Redskins helped the Cowboys to runaway with the NFC East title on Sunday, literally. The Cowboys pounced on the opportunity by laying the Colts to waste in a 42-7 win at the AT&T Stadium, marking their most complete performance at home en route to the divisional title. It wasn't enough to win. They had to make a statement, gauntlet throwing statement ahead of the playoffs. One that they'll be sure to emphasis in the nation's capital when they take on the Redskins. Take the Cowboys on your NFL picks to ride out the momentum and confidence behind three straight wins and close out the season on a high note.

Best ATS Pick: Colts -6.5 vs. Titans
Although the Colts are coming off a hefty 42-7 loss to the Cowboys on the road, that defeat needs to be put into perspective. Simply put: they ran into a team that had more incentive to win straight up than they did. Presented with the opportunity to wrap up the NFC East title after the Eagles lost in week 16's doubleheader on Saturday, the Cowboys weren't about to sit on their laurels and leave their destiny in the hands of fate. They took it by the scruff of its neck, so to speak.

The loss to the Cowboys didn't hurt the Colts' playoff bid as they'd already clinched their place through winning the AFC South title in week 15 NFL betting. Where it could hurt them is in their market evaluation for the playoffs. To lose in a heavyweight clash inevitably takes some of the shine off their NFL odds. Week 17's clash against the Titans is a lightweight matchup by comparison, but the Colts are going to want to erase the memory of week 16's loss with a big win in Tennessee. There may be no plaudits in beating the Titans, but proving they can bounce back after such a humiliating loss could go some way towards improving their NFL betting prospects in the postseason. Colts are 4-3 SU and ATS on the road. Titans are 1-6 SU and 1-5-1 ATS at home with a 9.4-point margin of defeat.

Best Total Pick: Lions vs. Packers OVER 48
The Packers bounced back to winning form with a 20-3 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 16 NFL betting. In their curtain closer, they take on their toughest opponent yet: divisional rivals Detroit Lions, tied with the Packers 11-4 SU atop the NFC North division. If there were an edge the Packers have over the Lions, it's their home form across the board. At Lambeau, the Packers are undefeated behind seven wins and they boast a 5-1-1 ATS mark with a 20.7-point margin of victory and have cashed on the OVER in six of their seven games. Twice the Packers have scored 50-plus points at Lambeau. They are averaging 30-plus points per game and their last home engagement was shootout between Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan that settled on a 43-37 win to the Packers. The Packers began the season with five straight OVERS at home until the New England Patriots snapped the trend with a 26-21 loss to the Packers. Against the Falcons, the Packers bounced back with another big performance. Lions are better on the defensive-side of the ball than they are on the offensive side – Matt Stafford has struggled of late with inconsistent performances. On the strength of the Packers' home form though and the way Aaron Rodgers and the O-line lights up at Lambeau, we're recommending the OVER 48 on your NFL picks.
