Our top plays continue to cash. Last week we had a rare five-unit maximum selection on the Carolina Panthers, who defeated the Minnesota Vikings outright as three-point home underdogs. Now the trick is to cash our other NFL picks -- and we intend to do just that on Sunday.

In an industry replete with handicappers and paid touts boasting false ATS records and suspect winning streaks, at the very least you know this is one place you will find a legitimate record. All you need to do is click on my name at the top of this article and you will see all my columns dating to Week 1. There’s no escape for me and I don’t want one, because historically I have made my readers money at season’s end.

But we are up against it now with three weeks of the regular season and the postseason remaining. I will not chase nor will I increase the volume of picks or the units associated with those picks. The issue this season is that our top plays have been popping, as Carolina did last week, but the others, well, not so much. Let’s put an end to this nonsense and sweep the board.

Eagles vs. Giants (+7 ½)

Free NFL Pick: Giants +7½ (2 units)Best Line Offered: Bovada

The Eagles are in a tough spot after losing MVP candidate Carson Wentz yet still managed a road victory over the high-flying Rams. Nick Foles now takes command of the Eagles offense as they do battle with their divisional rivals from New York. Philadelphia already has clinched the NFC East, and as bad as the Giants are, both their wins were as big underdogs -- against the Broncos and Chiefs. In addition, the Giants hung tough in Philly earlier this season, bowing 27-24 as five-point road dogs, and Eli Manning needs redemption after being benched two weeks ago. This is a golden opportunity for him to get it.

Dolphins vs. Bills (-3)

Free NFL Pick: Bills -3 (4 units)Best Line Offered: Heritage

The Dolphins are coming off their Super Bowl, at least for the 2017 season, after beating the Patriots. There is no doubt they are due for a letdown, and the Bills will have Tyrod Taylor under center to filet the Fish. One thing the Bills can do is create pressure in the backfield, which Jay Cutler had very little of last week against New England’s anemic pass rush. The Bills are still in playoff contention and need this win desperately. The Dolphins, on the other hand, are being overrated by the public, smitten with the team that beat America’s Most Hated Team in Week 14.

Patriots (-3) vs. Steelers

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3193244, "sportsbooksIds":[999996,238,19,169,43], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Free NFL Pick: Patriots -3 (4 units)Best Line Offered: 5Dimes

This is a perfect set-up for Tom Terrific and the Evil Genius to get well. Tom Brady is 32-6 ATS as a favorite of less than seven, and the Patriots have owned the Steelers throughout his career. Pittsburgh will be without defensive captain Ryan Shazier while the Pats will welcome Rob Gronkowski back into their lovin’ arms. New England's pass rush was abysmal last week but will tighten up, and the Patriots will do what they always do when they play Pittsburgh – win!

The Woodman’s Corner (10-4 ATS, +5.6 units)N.Y. Jets vs New Orleans Saints

Free NFL Pick: Jets +16Best Line Offered: JustBet

The Woodman continues to decimate bookmakers all over the planet with a white-hot 71 percent success rate in his NFL picks this season. He did it again last week with the Baltimore Ravens getting 4½ at Pittsburgh. It proved to be just another day at the office as Baltimore hung tough with the Steelers in a 39-38 loss but an ATS cover for the good guys.

This week our mystic from parts unknown turns his eyes toward the New York Jets, getting north of two touchdowns from the NFL oddsmakers as they take on the Saints down on the Bayou. It’s hard to argue with a man with a crystal ball. Jets launch at the Superdome, so sayeth the Woodman.

Swinger’s 2017 NFL Record: 16-24-1 ATS (-17.25 Units)
