Each and every week we tackle the NFL odds board in search of the best NFL picks in SU, ATS and Total betting markets. Join us as we weigh in on week 14's NFL betting slate and serve up our predictions.

Best SU Pick: Packers SU over Falcons at Lambeau
There are many standout straight up betting games on Week 14's NFL odds board, including the Broncos-Bills at Mile High and Lions-Bucs at Ford Field, to name a few. Both aforementioned games present excellent SU betting opportunities on account of the home records of the hosts. When it came down to picking one of these game for this column, we had to lean towards the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, particularly as they are coming off a statement-making win over the New England Patriots that extends their undefeated record at home to 6-0 SU. Simply put, the Packers are one of the league's forces on home turf. Not only are they undefeated but they're also the top performers against the spread with a 5-0-1 ATS record and a staggering 23.2-point margin of victory. Put another way, the 5-7 SU Atlanta Falcons (2-4 SU away) have no chance of beating the Packers on Monday Night Football, not if their form and stats were any indication. Falcons may be after a win over the Cardinals, but the win came on home turf and against a second-string quarterback in Drew Stanton. It's one thing to beat the Cardinals in their current disarray, another to attempt the feat against one of the hottest teams in the NFL.

Best ATS Pick: Texans to cover as 3.5-point road faves over Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are basking in the afterglow of their big upset win over the New York Giants as the 3-point road underdogs in week 13 NFL betting. Fact is they came up against a team that is clearly in the midst of an existential crisis that is more serious than most NFL bettors and pundits alike were willing to believe. How often do bookies match a team on a six-game skid the road favourites? Not very often. Yet, despite the evidence and their woes this season, the Giants were installed as the road favourites. Unambiguous indication of the expectation they would beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, undisputed NFL weaklings by the numbers over several seasons. That opinion doesn't change behind an unlikely win and cover. Jaguars are 2-10 SU and 3-8-1 ATS against the spread with an 11.9-point margin of defeat. Houston are 7-5 ATS this season with a 3.3-point margin of victory, 4-2 ATS on the road with a 3.8 margin of victory  –  a record that has them third best in the league against the spread on their travels. What's more, the Texans came to life in week 12 NFL betting behind an inspired performance by Ryan Fitzpatrick. Leading the Texans to a 45-21 win, Fitzpatrick threw for 300-plus yards and a career six touchdown passes. While it's unlikely the Texans would deposit another such overwhelming victory, the probability they would cover as the 3.5-point road favourites is high. Hence, they are our NFL pick against the spread to spot in week 14 NFL betting.

NFL Picks: Texans -3.5

Best Total Pick: Packers-Falcons to go OVER 55.5
For the best total pick on the NFL odds board, we return to the Packers-Falcons game in this column. Packers lead the league with a 9-3 over-under record this season. Although they slipped to back-to-back UNDERs with a 24-21 win over the Vikings on the road and a 26-21 win over the Patriots at Lambeau, slipping to 9-3 after going 9-1 in their first ten games, both those teams boast respectable defenses. Falcons simply don't have a defense to write home about, making them the ideal victims for yet another blowout at Lambeau Field by Aaron Rodgers and his potent offense. Shade the OVER 55.5 on your NFL picks.
