It’s Thanksgiving Week and we have three early-week games to be thankful for! There are nice NFL Odds shaping up across the sportsbooks, check this week 13 potential NFL Picks ideas.

Bears vs. Lions
A Thanksgiving staple are the Bears and Lions, who this year get to play the second game of the week played at Ford Field (yes, that was a Bills/Jets joke). The NFL Odds have opened up squarely in favor of the Lions at -6 ½, with a total of 47 ½. The Bears knocked off a second bad team in a row by beating the Bucs last week, while the Lions were decimated by the Patriots in Boston. However the Bears’ defense is far from the Patriots’, so don’t expect the Lions to be held without a touchdown this week a home.

Eagles vs. Cowboys
Another great divisional showdown follows the Bears and Lions, as the two best NFC East teams face off on the short week. The NFL Odds have the Eagles as +3 road dogs in the early odds, however only a few sportsbooks have the line out currently. The total is at 51 ½, but until more books release their line for this game, it’s hard to tell where it might actually settle by Thursday.

Seahawks vs. Niners
The trio of divisional contests is capped by a battle between two teams that wouldn’t make the playoffs if they started this week! I never thought I would be saying this at any point in the season, but with the Cardinals’ dominance, until they start on a rapid losing streak (that may have started this past week against the Hawks) one of these teams likely won’t make the playoffs. Therefore, this may be one of the biggest games in all of Week 13 in regards to the playoffs. The NFL Odds are favoring the Niners at -3, with a total of 40 points.

Cardinals vs. Falcons
The Cards didn’t have a great showing last week against the Seahawks, but they have a much easier task on offense this week in Atlanta. They should get back on track against this team on Sunday, and the NFL Odds agree, favoring the Cards on the road at -2, with a total of 44 ½. This game has already seen some opening movement, as the game opened around a pick em, so clearly there are some sharps moving the line already in favor of the Cardinals.

Patriots vs. Packers
The most riveting and definitely the biggest non-conference game of the week is late Sunday between the Patriots and Packers. The NFL Odds favor Green Bay at -3, and without trying to sound too much like a jealous Bears fan, but a wise NFL pick here is to take the points and the moneyline with the Patriots. New England’s secondary is strong enough to at the very least limit the Packers’ passing game, while the Packers’ aren’t bad in the secondary either, it’s mainly because their run defense is so bad that teams don’t try passing on them often. I don’t think the line of -3 is going to stick with Green Bay, so take a stab now while the week is still young.

Broncos vs. Chiefs
The most important divisional game not on Thanksgiving Day is the Broncos and Chiefs hooking up from Arrowhead on Sunday night. The NFL Odds are sitting around a pick em in favor of the Broncos, and there are some sportsbooks that are already increasing their NFL Odds to -1 in favor of Denver, with a total of 49 ½. I’m not sure what to do with the spread, but the total looks ripe for an under bet. Divisional games late in the season love the under, and the under has cashed at 6-1-1 in these teams’ last eight meetings overall, and 3-1 in their last four played in Arrowhead.
