Dak Prescott and the Cowboys look to make it 11 wins in a row when they descend on Minnesota Vikings this Thursday. Here’s a mini betting preview complete with NFL picks

Dallas Cowboys vs. Minnesota Vikings

Point Spread Value

Cowboys are top of the league with a 10-1-0 SU record and a 9-2-0 ATS record that includes a 9.4 point winning margin and +7.6 differential versus the spread. They’re riding an incredible 10-game winning streak which includes covering nine out of their last ten games. Last week, the Cowboys missed the cover as the -5.5 closing home chalk in a 31-26 win, but only just. The Vikings look ripe for the taking, coming off a 16-13 loss to the Lions on Thanksgiving Thursday. It marked their fifth loss and missed cover in six games. Hard to recommend the Vikings on week 12 NFL picks in any way shape or form.

The Survivor

Dallas Cowboys are riding an incredible 10-game winning streak, looking to make it eleven in a row at the expense of the Minnesota Vikings who have taken a nosedive since a week 6 bye. Sam Bradford and the Vikings have struggled since October, winning just one of their last six games. That’s simply not the sort of form to inspire confidence against a team that doesn’t know how to lose games. Indeed, had receiver Terence Williams not botched the last play in week 1, the Cowboys might actually be undefeated through the first 12 weeks of the season. In any event, 10 wins in a row is nothing to scoff at and, certainly, not something to bet against.

Game Total

The Cowboys are averaging 28.7 points scored per game and 19.3 points per game allowed. Overall, they boast a 5-6-0 OVER record for the season with a +1 differential against the total. Vikings are notorious for their defense so it’s no surprise they are 4-7-0 in O/U betting with a -3.8 differential versus the total. Two of their last three games cracked the closing total and featured combined scores of 45 or more. Given how potent the Cowboys offense can be, it’s quite possible this game will go the way of those and crack the total currently trading.
