Tennessee Titans look to bounce back at the expense of Chicago Bears in week 12. NFL betting markets favour the Titans and the public is jumping on their bandwagon.

 Tennessee Titans vs Chicago Bears
 Point Spread Value

Titans slip to a 5-6 SU and 4-7-0 ATS record following a 24-17 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in an AFC South showdown last Sunday. In spite of the defeat, there were plenty of positives to be had and Marcus Mariota looks like a bona fide superstar in the making. That has many NFL bettors optimistic about the Titans for week 12 NFL picks. As far as the Chicago Bears are concerned, it was more of the same. Blah! The eighth loss of the season, second in a row since a one-off shocker in week 8 MNF that saw the Bears stun the Vikings 20-10.  Sporting a 2-8 SU and 3-7-0 ATS mark underscored by a -8.0 losing margin and -5.0 differential versus the spread, the Bears strike an unconvincing pose.

The Survivor

The Chicago Bears sport a middling home record in 2016 that stands proudly at 2-2 SU. Not being funny, that’s the best record at Soldier Field in recent memory! Then again, not to put a damper on it but Jay Cutler is responsible for one solitary win this season at Soldier field. Last term the Bears finished 1-7 SU at home. So Jay Cutler is really only worth a 2-9 SU record over that stretch. Eeek! (Why fans buy tickets to home games is inexplicable). In any event, since 2014, the Bears have one of the worst home records in the league that stands at 5-15 SU and includes a -5.4 losing margin and -4.5 differential versus the spread. Nuff said.

Game Total

Marcus Mariota can really put up the points when he lights up as evinced over the last few weeks. On the strength of his play the Titans are 8-3-0 in O/U betting. The Bears defense is no slouch and could give Marcus Mariota some headaches, but the offense isn’t up to scratch with Jay Cutler as the shot caller. Not surprising the Bears are 4-6-0 in O/U betting this season, This could be a lopsided affair with the Bears struggling to get past a Titans pass rush defense that is fast becoming one of the best in the league.
