NFL odds for Week 12 have been released and this handicapper has found some very intriguing picks to be made. Here are some of the bigger games catching his attention.

Jets vs. Bills
The Battle for New York Round Two kicks off this week in Buffalo, and with the extra rest from playing on Thursday of Week 11, the Bills are the NFL Odds favorites in this game. Sportsbooks have the Bills as -4 ½ favorites with a total of only 40 points. While it may not be a shoot out, this is going to be a close game. The first time these two met up, the score ended in a shootout 43-23. However I doubt the Jets’ defense is as bad this time around.

Packers vs. Vikings
The NFL Odds are all over the place with this NFC North game. Right now the Packers are anywhere from a -9 to a -11 road favorite in this game, with a total of 48 ½ points. After their loss to the Bears last week, the Vikings are the undisputed worst team in the NFC North. It doesn’t get any easy against a team that put up 50-plus points last week. Expect the line to close on the high side.

Rams vs. Chargers
Fresh off of their huge upset win over the Broncos this past week, the Rams are still big underdogs against the Chargers. The NFL Odds have the Chargers as -5 ½ or even -6 favorites, with a total of 44 points. I think the Broncos lost that Week 11 game more than the Rams won it, and this week against San Diego, it’s going to be hard to put together back to back wins for the Rams.

Cardinals vs. Seahawks
The Super Bowl champs are banged up and they lost again last week. Now they have to play the team with the best record in football, and even though the Cards lost Carson Palmer, they still beat the Lions yesterday. However despite their records, the NFL Odds are favoring the Seahawks at -6 ½ this week, with a total of 42 points. While it’s probably not a great NFL pick, it does seem a bit suspicious that the Cardinals are this large of an underdog.

Cowboys vs. Giants
An NFC East showdown in New York is what awaits us on Sunday evening, and the NFL Odds have the Giants as +3 home dogs, with a total of 47 ½. Eli Manning didn’t have a great game last week, but his team around him has been the bigger issue this season. The Cowboys on the other hand had the week off in Week 11, and that will only help them this week in their NFL Odds. Look for the spread to rise just a little bit before kick off Sunday.

Ravens vs. Saints
Finally, Week 12 caps off with a great intra-conference game between the Saints ad Ravens. Just when we were about to give the Saints some love, they go and get beat up at home, but even after their loss to the Bengals, the NFL Odds have them as -4 favorites, with a total of 49 ½ at 5Dimes. This line is bound to move around some before next Monday, but one thing is certain, no one wants to win the NFC South. However Tampa and Atlanta both won this past week, which means that the Falcons are the divisional leader right now at 4-6.
