The Giants are 5-5 & coming off their bye as they sit on top of the NFC East, while Washington got thumped by Carolina. This divisional rivalry game is massive this Sunday.

Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -1 -105 at Pinnacle
The Giants opened as 1-point favorites on the road, but the NFL odds have been moving up from -1.5 to -2 and now -2.5. This line seems a little low as the Giants are a better team, but Washington is at home and are only a game behind in what has been a strange year for the NFC East. Both teams are tied for 24th in the NFL in points allowed at 25.3, and while the Giants' offense is fourth in points scored, the Redskins have shown the ability to get hot. The Giants split their last four games before their bye, but they could have won against New Orleans and New England, and they've been playing well. The Redskins got blown out in Carolina against, admittedly, a very good team, but they had won two of three prior to that. Even in their loss to New England, the Redskins held their own and then they blew out the Saints.

TE Larry Donnell has a neck injury and he is going to miss this crucial divisional game. But the Giants could receive a boost as CB Prince Amukamara has missed five games with a pectoral tear, but he should be ready by Sunday.

T Trent Williams suffered a knock on his knee against the Panthers, but he says he'll be ready to play on Sunday. TE Jordan Reed has his own knee problems, but he should be in the lineup. RB Alfred Morris has banged-up ribs, so keep an eye on that situation.

The Giants are 6-3-1 ATS this season, going 3-1-1 ATS on the road. The Redskins are 4-6 ATS, but a decent 3-2 ATS at home. The total is set for 46.5 and the Giants have gone over seven times, while the Redskins have gone over five times.

The Giants are also 7-3 SU and 5-5 ATS (including five in a row in both cases) in their last 10 meetings with the Redskins. Washington is 3-7 SU and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 at home against New York.
