I’ve already released my player props for the Week 11 NFL Odds, and now it’s time to look into some team props. I am here to help narrow them down to profitable NFL Picks.
Philadelphia Eagles O/U 26.5 points
My first team prop is a team total of 26.5 for Philadelphia this week, and as we all know, it’s time for the ‘Sanchise.’ Mark Sanchez will be starting this week for the Eagles, but is he capable of getting this team to the 3-4 touchdowns it’s going to take to cash the over with this prop? I’m not seeing it, but what I am seeing is the under being a valuable prop this week.
Tampa Bay’s defense hasn’t been that great in the giving up points department, but they have been turning teams over this year. The Bucs are tied for first place in forced fumbles this season, and combine that with some interceptions as well, and they have turned their opponents over a lot this season. If Sanchez throws a pick or is sacked and fumbles, this might kill the Eagles’ chances of having a big scoring day too. While they are at home this week, I see the Eagles leaning on DeMarco Murray a lot in this game and limiting Sanchez as much as possible. Take the under to lead off your team props this week.
My Pick: UNDER 26.5 points (-120)
Packers vs. Vikings race to 10 points
This pick is solely a gut call from me, but after three straight losses, and a big need to get back on track to protect their playoff spot in the NFC, the Packers might jump out on the Vikings this week and never let their foot off the gas. There is some nice value to be had if that happens this week at the bet365 team prop department. I am playing is as safe as possible this week, but if the Packers get to 10 points first this week, the odds are an extremely inviting +100. If the Packers can somehow drop 30 points this week and hold the Vikings to 29 or less, the value is +333.
The value alone is enough to take a shot at, so if you are already backing the Packers this week, these prop wagers might be a nice way to get extra value from this straight wager. I see the Packers getting back on track this week, so buy low on Green Bay to get to 10 points first versus a slow and methodical Vikings offense.
My Pick: Packers (+100)
Broncos vs. Bears O/U 4.5 TDs
There are a lot of ‘ifs’ involved in this play, but with Brock Osweiler starting for the Broncos, and hopefully with Alshon Jeffrey playing, the over could bring even more value at +110. The Broncos will give the Bears every opportunity to score against their good defense this week if Osweiler doesn’t play well, and with the Bears being undervalued all season in that department, as long as Cutler has his favorite target this week, I think Chicago and Denver cam combine for five or more touchdowns.
The Bears’ defense hasn’t been great this year, especially against the pass, so Osweiler might be able to exploit that for some pay dirt. Even though John Fox used to coach him, I have faith that despite that edge for the Bears coaching staff, we can get two to three touchdowns from the Broncos’ backup. Take the over and add it to your NFL prop picks this week.
My Pick: OVER 4.5 TDs (+110)
