All of these odds are courtesy of Bet365 sportsbook, and today I have for you the Pierre edition of player prop picks.
Pierre Thomas has been very important to the Saints so far this season, and after a couple of seasons of being the forgotten tail back in the Saints’ offense, Thomas has been getting several touches per game, and he has produced. This week at Bet365, his total yards total is set at 77 ½, which I think has tremendous over value here today.
The 49ers should give up some yards on the ground in this game. This season against opposing running backs, the 49ers are giving up an average of 129 rushing and receiving yards per game to the tailbacks, and Thomas should be no different. To win this game, the Saints will have to run the ball, and so far this season, Thomas has gotten the call. Darren Sproles will get his touches regardless of Thomas’ and I don’t think his presence will kill the value of Thomas in this prop.

In their last five games overall, Thomas has rushed/received at least 80 or more yards in those games, and he has received an average of 19 touches per game in those last five games. If he gets another 20 touches in this one, I think see him eclipsing the 77 ½ total yards mark, making the over the play for our first Pierre NFL prop bet.
My Pick: Pierre Thomas OVER 77 ½ total yards (-120)
If Pierre Thomas is occupying our first Pierre prop, then Pierre Garcon has to be the next contestant. At Bet365, Garcon has a TD price today of -110, and even though that doesn’t present the value we are used to with betting WRs to score, the value being presented here is too much to pass up. Only one team in the NFL has given up more receiving touchdowns this season than the Eagles, and although they might try and take Garcon out in the red zone, I see him coming through today against a bad secondary.
There should be some value here even if the Eagles double cover Garcon in the red zone. He has the third most targets in the NFL as a WR, and in the red zone, he is just as targeted. He also scored last week, which should be a sign of good things to come for Garcon and this Redskins offense.
This game should be a shootout by all means. Neither one of these two defenses have been playing very well, and for the Redskins, their defense has been one of, if not the worst in the NFL this season. If Washington falls behind in this game like they have so many times before this season, I think it gives extra value to Garcon finding the end zone. I fully expect at least ten or more targets for Garcon here, and I could see three or four of them being deep/red zone pass targets. Look for many a corner to get beat in this game, and I see Bradley Fletcher or Cary Williams getting beat for a score in this one by Garcon, rounding out our double-Pierre prop betting series for Week 11’s NFL Odds.
My Pick: Pierre Garcon TD Scored (-110)
