Bills look to snap a three-game losing streak at the expense of the underwhelming Bengals. Is Rex Ryan’s side the sexy NFL pick for your week 11 betting thrills? Find out in this mini-betting preview.

  Buffalo Bills vs Cincinnati Bengals
 Point Spread Value

The Buffalo Bills are coming off a much-needed bye week. After falling to the Dolphins, Patriots and Seahawks they crashed back down to earth with a big thump. The four-game winning streak they’d enjoyed from week 3 to 6 now a distant memory. Next up are the Bengals, who in previous seasons might have loomed daunting. They are anything but that this term. Underwhelming is a word that springs to mind. Dandy Andy is off his game. The offense is sputtering at best. The defense doesn’t quite pack the punch it used to; never mind, they can’t seem to protect Dalton as he spends more time grazing grass than upright. Bengals are coming off a short week and a 21-20 loss to the Giants. Neither side strikes a convincing pose to be fair, but as the NFL line stands it just looks like too many points to lay with the hosts who are just 3-6-0 ATS with a -2.6 losing margin and -4.5 differential versus the spread.

The Survivor

Sat third in the AFC East with a 4-5 SU record and a 2-3 SU road record the shine has come off of sexy Rex and the Bills. That said, they’re still in the running for a wildcard spot as things currently stand, which amounts to incentive to win. Same goes for the underwhelming (there’s that word again) Bengals, who despite a 3-5-1 SU mark are still within reasonable shot of not only making the playoffs but winning the division. It’s a topsy-turvy AFC North this season. In any event, both will be looking to win this game. Something is going to have to give though. Bengals should win but Bills could win. Dilemma, dilemma. So how do we bet this game? Hmm, well, let’s see: Bengals at -170 money line odds (or thereabouts depending on your choice bookmaker is way too rich considering their current form. Bills are correctly priced as the +150 (or so) underdogs, but the price is definitely more attractive for week 11 NFL picks.

Game Total

The Bills boast a 7-2-0 OVER record while the Bengals boast a 5-4-0 OVER record. By those stats, the OVER combines for the likely bet in this matchup. Adding weight to that notion is the fact that the Bills are riding a five-game OVER streak, which includes two wins and three losses. Bills are scoring 30 points per game in the last five while conceding 27 points. If the Bills offense can light up as it did during their four-game winning streak – not an impossibility given the way the Bengals are playing – this game could very well crack the total on hand.
