There are appealing matchups to pounce on as the playoff push continues around the NFL. Let's dive in with our underdog picks for Week 13.

There aren't many live underdogs in Week 13. But we'll go back to the well and try to multiply our money with some plus-odds after a 2-1 week with our underdog picks. Let's take advantage of the Dallas Cowboys' COVID-19 issues, back perhaps the league's best team as an underdog, and take the New York Jets.

I’m seeing two teams that could very well be favored, and one that’s simply not getting enough love.

Here are my top three Week 13 underdog picks.

Week 13 Underdog Picks and Predictions

Saints (+182) vs. Cowboys

This one feels like a free space, but the Saints could hold a significant edge over the Cowboys due to Dallas’ COVID-19 outbreak. There are nine staffers and players in quarantine, including head coach Mike McCarthy.

Dallas’ defense has become considerably worse over the last two weeks. And while New Orleans has regressed a bit in that regard too, its personnel is still excellent, and the team will get a massive lift with Demario Davis’ return.

Additionally, New Orleans will finally turn its offense over to Taysom Hill under center. He was effective last year, or at least more so than Trevor Siemian has been for the Saints this season. This feels like great value.

Jets (+240) vs. Eagles

We hit with the Jets last week against Houston, and we’re firing them up again.

Philly is dealing with some backfield issues with both Miles Sanders and Jordan Howard banged up, potentially giving the Jets' defense a chance to be successful against the run again. Running backs have absolutely gashed New York all year, but in Week 12 we saw what can happen when the opposition's rushing attack doesn't torch the Jets. The defense actually played well, sacking Tyrod Taylor five times for 52 yards.

The Jets’ offense has also been improving, and Mike LaFleur’s play-calling can save this team. Since moving to the booth following Zach Wilson's injury, LaFleur has been leaning more on the pass while piecing together drives brilliantly.

Meanwhile, the Eagles' defense has waffled all year and can be beaten.

Patriots (+125) vs. Bills

This one just doesn’t sit right with me. New England is leading the AFC East, and it could easily be 10-2 without some bad breaks that led to defeats. And now the Pats are sizeable underdogs on the road in Buffalo?

The Patriots boast an excellent pass rush and they rank No. 1 in weighted DVOA defensively. They've been particularly strong against the pass while ranking second in DVOA, and they should be able to contain Josh Allen. We’ve seen him flounder against good pass rushes and quality rushing defenses that have forced him to get rid of the ball quickly and lean on short passes.

The Bills are also just a couple of games removed from giving up 41 points to the Colts. Don't trust their defense in a prime-time divisional matchup.
