The 2016-2017 NFL Regular Season has finally arrived, but we still have one more week to go concerning the preseason. Here are your NFL Preseason Week 4 Picks of the Day.

Tennessee Titans vs Miami Dolphins

Backups Get the PT
Miami Dolphins head coach, Adam Gase, has seen enough and he stated that all of the backup players are going to get all of the playing time in this game. Could this possibly be attributed to two top receivers in DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills getting injured on the same day and at the same position?

I'm not sure and both players are fine. It could possibly be that Gase wants his backups to get an opportunity to showcase their skills. Miami has a very deep receiving core with players such as Leonte Carroo and we should see a ton of quarterbacks, Brandon Doughty and Zac Dysert in this game as Ryan Tannehill won't be playing.

Tannehill has been a star in the preseason along with Stills, who most people think will leave the team at season's end, and now Miami will be navigated by players that have never been in that position before. Last week, Doughty only threw the football 4 times, completing 3 passes for 14 yards and Dysert was fairly sharp, going 6 for 7 for 57 yards. Even though Arian Foster showed that "he's still got it" with a touchdown last week in a 17-6 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, passing is the name of the game for the Miami Dolphins and I see Leonte Carroo having a big game. Carroo was a superstar at Rutgers and is slotted as the 4th option and many people think that he was the steal of the draft. Here's his chance to impress.

Holding No Punches
The Tennessee Titans are coming off of an impressive 27-14 victory over a tough Oakland Raiders team and I see no reason why they can't have a repeat performance against the Dolphins. Even though the Titans don't want to see injuries, expect to see their star players at key positions play in this game.

Last week, Marcus Mariota was 9 of 16 for 170 yards and 1 TD and the Titans have the two-headed monster at running back in 2015 Heisman Trophy Winner, Derrick Henry and DeMarco Murray, who had the worst season that a player could have after having one of the best season that a player could have as a member of the Dallas Cowboys. The good news for Murray is that Chip Kelly won't be holding him back anymore and it's up to him to sink or swim. Both Murray and Henry found the end zone last week and might possibly find it again against a Dolphins squad who are looking ahead towards the regular season. Tennessee is the pick in this game.

Indianapolis Colts vs Cincinnati Bengals

No Problem at QB For Cincy
The Bengals might have allowed 15 points in the 4th quarter in a 26-21 loss to Jacksonville last week, but they don't really care as both of their two top quarterbacks in Andy Dalton and A.J. McCarron got in some solid work and that's what team's look for. McCarron, who was highly touted coming out of Alabama, can start for a handful of NFL teams and that provides Cincinnati with a bit of more slack than some other squad. McCarron has been outstanding all preseason and last week was no different as he was 8 of 12 for 107 yards and 1 TD. Andy Dalton was no slouch himself as he threw for 77 yards and 1 TD. Nobody ever questioned Dalton's ability. The only thing in question with Andy Dalton is his ability to win playoff games. Look for both players to play well here, but both should be pulled a bit earlier than normal for fear of injury.

Another position that appears to be solidified is the running back position with the combination of Jeremy Hill and all-purpose back, Giovani Bernard. While Hill is the lead back, we could see the Bengals go with the hot hand as Hill has had moments of inconsistency last season. Thus far in this preseason, there have been no problems. Both players scored in last week's loss and I expect to see them get more reps. The only question in the final week of the preseason is how long will the key players at the key offensive positions play? That's my only concern where the Bengals are concerned.

Will the Colts' Defense Show Up?
That remains to be seen after a 33-23 loss last week in which Sam Bradford dominated the Colts defense and might possibly get the starting quarterback job for Philly. As for the Colts, we know who the starter is and he has the potential to be the best quarterback in the league. Last season was a major setback, but Andrew Luck is still a franchise quarterback with major upside.

Luck showed some of that upside in last week's defeat as he threw for 134 yards on 13 of 18 passing attempts. Rookie, Stephen Morris was also a beast last week as he threw for 144 yards and 1 TD.

Another promising feature to the Colts offense is the combination of wide receivers, T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief. Moncrief was targeted a total of 8 times last week and led the team in receiving with 6 catches for 58 yards. As for Hilton, we know that he can "break one" at any time and is a threat in any game that he plays despite dropping an occasional pass. I look for both of these teams to be cautious and competitive at the same time. 4 points is a lot to lay. For my NFL Pick on this game, look for Indianapolis to cover the spread.
