Daily Line Move Log

103 Army/104 Navy- Navy opened -22.5, went up to -23.5 on the college football odds, now back to -22.5 or -23.There are so many different ‘openers’ in the bowl games, I could report both sides in many, if not most cases. However, I will try to identify the real moves of the games so far.

207 San Jose State/208 Georgia State- San Jose opened -5, sharp money showed right away suddenly hot Georgia State. SJ down to -3.5.

233 Tulsa/234 Virginia Tech- Sharp money grabbed the Tulsa +14. Va Tech now at -13.5 at 5Dimes.

107 Bills/108 Eagles- The Eagles opened the favorite, went as high as -2. Now it has switched with the Bills going to -1 and -1.5. The Bills LeSean McCoy, who left Philadelphia with a lot of bad feelings, has told his teammates he really needs them this week. And of course Rex Ryan loves all these revenge situations. We’ll see what happens. It’s not like Chip Kelly won’t be aware of it.

121 Colts/122 Jaguars- Almost no one has this game up. The Colts Matthew Hasselbeck, who is playing while Andrew Luck heals, is questionable. If Hasselbeck can’t go it will be Charlie Whitehurst taking the reins. Huge drop off from the veteran Hasselbeck, who has played well in place of Luck, though last week’s performance against the Steelers was a clunker.

125 Patriots/126 Texans- Pats were mostly -3.5 on the NFL odds, but some sharp money has now shown on the Texans. Now the Pats are mostly -3 with some juice on the favorite or some -3.5 with heavy juice on the dog. No surprise, the public is still firmly behind the Pats.

129 Cowboys/130 Packers- Anyone who was using this game before last night had the Packers -8. After the Cowboys win, the line has now dropped to -7. The Cowboys are still alive in the NFC East, even though last night’s win was their first in 8 games without Tony Romo.

131 Seahawks/132 Ravens- This game has yet to hit the board with the questionable availability of Ravens quarterback Matt Schaub. Schaub has gotten the nod to start as Joe Flacco is out for the season. If Schaub can’t go, it will be journeyman Jimmy Clausen.

133 Giants/134 Dolphins- Giants opened pick, but now they are anywhere from pick to -1.5. Giants, like everyone in the division, are still alive in the NFC East.
