Will Travis Kelce bounce back from a lackluster first game when his Kansas City Chiefs host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday?

Kelce caught just three passes for 34 yards in Week 1, as he finished behind even fellow tight end Noah Gray as the team’s fourth-leading receiver.

This week’s Travis Kelce player props focus on whether the tight end can be as productive as he’s been in seasons past despite more offensive weapons for the Chiefs.

In Week 2, the Chiefs are facing a defense that struggled against the New England Patriots last week. Because of that, Kelce should be able to rebound nicely and get himself a solid day, if not a huge one.

Kelce is just one piece of the puzzle in this game, so make sure you're reading our NFL Week 2 predictions for everything you need to know!

Travis Kelce Over 5.5 receptions (+126) ⭐⭐⭐

Over the past few seasons, it’s been a mixed bag for Kelce against the Bengals. Last year, he caught just three passes for 16 yards, though he pulled down seven catches for 78 yards and a touchdown in the AFC Championship game the prior season.

There are two ways to look at Kelce’s production with Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy playing alongside him: either they'll take opportunities away from Kelce, or they'll draw more defensive attention to give Kelce favorable matchups. I think it will be the latter in this game.

Last season, Kelce finished the year with six or more catches in three of his final four games. FanDuel is the only one of our best sports betting sites offering this Over at greater than +120, while others are as short as +115.

Travis Kelce Over 50.5 receiving yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐

Once again, FanDuel is offering the best price for this total. It's also offering the lowest total of any of our best sports betting apps, as the others have the number set at 53.5. This feels like a massive overreaction to Week 1.

Last season, Kelce went for more than 50 yards in seven of his final 10 games, including the postseason. In Week 1, the Ravens did a good job taking him out of the game and forced other Chiefs players to beat them. Unfortunately, for the Ravens, the Chiefs did just that.

The main reason this Over might not hit would be if the Chiefs run the ball effectively.

Last week, the Bengals allowed 170 rushing yards to the Patriots. If the Bengals load the box to stop the run, Kelce won’t need many catches to hit this Over.

Best odds: -113 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.05%

Travis Kelce longest reception Over 19.5 yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

Kelce hasn’t recorded a reception of longer than 19 yards against the Bengals since 2018. Last season, his longest play was 10 yards, and in two meetings against the team in 2022, Kelce’s longest play was exactly 19 yards.

Though this is a concern for Kelce, I already talked about how the Chiefs are going to run the ball effectively in this game. Because of that, Kelce is going to have more opportunities to beat the defense for long gains.

Four of our best sportsbooks have this number set at 19.5. The best price being offered is the -110 at DraftKings.

You can also play Over 18.5 for -114 at FanDuel.
