NFL Touchdown Scorer Prop Odds Analysis

Touchdown props come in several forms including anytime, first, last, or even multiples. Odds vary slightly across each book but are usually in the same general range. While the plus-money odds for some of the more exotic touchdown props are enticing, anytime scores are less volatile and much safer.

Top NFL Picks for Anytime Touchdowns in Week 12

Rachaad White (-115) ★★★★ (Buccaneers at Browns)

Last week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' rookie running back logged 105 yards on 22 carries in relief of injured Leonard Fournette. He may get the opportunity to lead the backfield again this week. Fournette’s hip has yet to improve. White crossed the goal line only once this season, but his counterpart scored in two out of his last three games.

White faces a Cleveland Browns rush defense that allowed 16 rushing touchdowns, the NFL's third most. They surrendered at least one TD to an opposing running back in all but two games this season. Five times this year they've given up two scores on the ground to the position.

Joshua Palmer (+165) ★★★★★ (Chargers at Cardinals)

Palmer emerged as a constant amidst a hobbled L.A. Chargers receiving corp. Last week, he matched his best season outing, catching eight of 10 targets for 106 yards and getting two TDs. Palmer has a modest three six-point receptions this season. However, fellow wideout Mike Williams is still battling an injury, putting Palmer in line for more increased production.

His opposition, the Arizona Cardinals, are the league's third worst, giving up 1.9 passing touchdowns per game. They surrendered multiple TDs in two of their last three contests, including two scores to San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. The Cardinals are second to the Pittsburgh Steelers allowing 21 total receiving TDs this year.

Michael Carter (+170) ★★★ (Jets vs. Bears)

Not much has gone right for the New York Jets lately, which prompted backup quarterback Mike White to start in place of Zach Wilson. Jets running back Carter stands to benefit as he faces a Chicago Bears rush defense that allowed the most rushing TDs this season. The Bears only failed to let an opposing back cross the goal line three times in 2022.

Carter scored three touchdowns this year. Two weeks ago he found the end zone against the Buffalo Bills. WynnBet is offering +140 for an anytime Carter touchdown, so grabbing the extra 30 points on DraftKings is the best bet.
