By now the turkey has been picked over, unless turkey chop suey is on the menu this weekend at your house, and those desserts are going to need to be wrapped no later than Sunday night after football.

Yes, another Thanksgiving is in the rearview mirror and we turn our attention to the remaining 13 contests with NFL odds that are still on the docket. More specifically, those with totals and we will be trying to better our 21-8-1 record on the season (72.4%) with a trio of selections. As we head down the backstretch of the season, our attention will be more drawn to those games with implications, rather than trying to guess who does and does not want to play when clubs with losing records collide. Here is what we have for the last Sunday of November.

Bills & Chiefs Have Scoreboard Flashing Like Christmas Tree

The total in this AFC contest has shot up from 45 to 47 points, and why not?! After permitting only 16.4 points a game in first seven contests, Buffalo's defense has been blown up in surrendering 135 points in only three games. While it is true the Bills offense has made several contributions thanks to 10 turnovers, the numbers still count against the defense. Kansas City's explosive offense has been quelled in recent encounters, scoring just 26 in past two road starts. Buffalo's defense provides the Chiefs a chance to get back on track, and the Bills are 14-5 OVER when the total is between 42.5-49 points.

Bears & Eagles Defenses Keep Scoring Down

Philadelphia has the top scoring offense in the NFL at 32 PPG, and the Eagles are 6-4 OVER on the season, so where does the idea of a lower score come into play? The Chicago defense has not played poorly and is middle of the pack at 22.1 PPG allowed. Carson Wentz and the Eagles offense have piled up the points, yet I wonder off a big Dallas victory and having a three-game road trip on deck starting in Seattle if we will Philly at its best. The Bears are 27th in ringing up points at 17.4 PPG, and it would take quite an imagination to think they will push past that figure, with Philadelphia holding opponents to 16.6 PPG in last half-dozen contests.

Deceiving Total In Oakland

In the AFC confrontation between Denver and Oakland, the total has been bouncing around between 43-44. The Broncos offense has been more laughable than Saturday Night Live Weekend Update, as it has averaged 14.6 PPG since scoring 40 in Week 2 against Dallas. With Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler no help, Denver opens quarterback door No. 3 and trots out Paxton Lynch. The Raiders' supposed high-powered offense has scored more than 17 points twice in last eight outings and its offensive line could not knock over a pillow display at Dillards. Then why am I bullish on the OVER for NFL picks? Neither defense has kept anyone out of the end zone in a month, and Oakland is 14-5 OVER at home.
