With a couple of picks pending on the Sunday afternoon slate, I am back with a couple of final prop betting picks for Week 6. The Sunday night game between the Colts and Texans provides some value!

NFL Season Props Record: 40-30-2

Brock Osweiler O/U 249 ½ passing yards

The Texans offense has looked somewhere between horrific and sub par so far this season, which is an improvement on just being horrific last season, but it’s still not going to win them the AFC South. Beating the Colts will go a long way in winning the division and tonight the Texans and Brock Osweiler have their best chance of doing that in Houston.

However, Osweiler has only completed 58 percent of his passes to start the season and he is averaging an even worse six yards per pass attempt. Things could easily improve against this Colts defense that has given up the fifth most passing yards in the league.

However, while the average sports bettor will think that the over is a lock for this week, I’m not convinced. Will Fuller’s status seems to still be up in the air, which could really hurt Osweiler’s chances of throwing for a bunch of yards, even against a bad pass defense.

Vontae Davis was out for three games this season and is back healthy, which will hurt Osweiler’s value and on top of that, there is no guarantee they will be playing from behind here, forcing Osweiler to put the ball in the air.

The multiple game scripts that hurt Osweiler’s value, combined with Fuller’s health and Osweiler’s poor play to start the season, I think Top Rated Sportsbook, Bovada has jacked up the Houston quarterback’s passing yards total, in hopes that the donkeys will blindly take the over. Don’t be a donkey, take the under here.

Lamar Miller To Score a Touchdown

Lamar Miller has not been able to find the end zone this season but that should change this week. He is at home on Sunday Night Football against a really bad defense. The Colts have given up seven touchdowns to opposing running backs this season, so while Miller has been shut out so far from getting a touchdown, but his volume of work both in the ground and passing games is staggering. He is going to find the end zone one of these days and this drought likely ends tonight.

While I was tempted to take his yards total, that number is pretty sharp. Plus, the price of -125 for the over is the same as Miller’s touchdown odds for this one. So, take Miller to break his TD slump tonight.
