The Carolina Panthers and New York Giants are sizeable road dogs on the Week 6 NFL odds board. Good thing road dogs have been profitable this year at 29-23-1 ATS.

Jason's 2015 record as of Oct. 17: 18-12 ATS; 0-1 ML (-1.00 units); 12-19 Total

Letters, we get letters, we get stacks and stacks of letters. Everyone wants to know where the NFL picks are for this week's big games in Seattle and Philadelphia. We've already done the totals, of course, but what about the spreads? Look no further, we've got them right here as part of our Sunday Betting Ticket. Ummm... make that our Sunday-Monday Betting Ticket. Doesn't have quite the same ring to it. Oh well.

Carolina Panthers vs. Seattle Seahawks (4:05 p.m. ET, FOX)
When we looked at the total for this game, it was the lowest one on the Week 6 NFL odds at 40.5 points. They've bumped that up to 41 as we go to press, but it's still looking like a low-scoring affair in the Emerald City. Could be a soggy one, too, with a 55-percent chance of rain at kick-off. All the more reason to take the Panthers as 7-point road dogs, right?

Not so fast. Our consensus reports showed a slight lean toward Seattle at the open, although it didn't take too long for Panthers supporters to flip the script. But check out our expanded consensus reports: At press time, the Seahawks are pulling in 92 percent of the monies wagered, for a colossal average bet of $1,051. Holy doodle. The average bet on Carolina is $76.

We can't possibly fade bets that big. The Panthers (4-0 SU, 3-1 ATS) have done some good things this year, but against incredibly soft opposition, while the Seahawks (2-3 SU, 1-3-1 ATS) have a pair of overtime losses on the road weighing down their record. The high rollers have spoken.

NFL Picks: Take the Seahawks –7 (+102) at Marathon

New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles (Monday, 8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN)
The Giants (3-2 SU and ATS) also left a couple of victories on the board this year, but they're the ones getting the points in this NFC East matchup. Our early consensus reports showed 91 percent of bettors on the G-Men at +3.5, yet they've moved as high as +5.5 as we go to press. Apparently the bigger money is on the Eagles (2-3 SU and ATS). Yup: Our expanded reports show Philly pulling in over 55 percent of the action, with nearly double the average bet size.

Not exactly what we were looking for. But at $155 a pop, the Eagles aren't nearly as daunting as Seattle. Football Outsiders has New York ranked No. 8 overall in efficiency, four spots ahead of Philadelphia, and the Eagles offensive line is last in the league in run blocking. RB Ryan Mathews (groin) looks like he'll play Monday after all, but we'll go with Big Blue, and may the prolate spheroid be with you.

NFL Picks: Take the Giants +5.5 (–105) at Heritage
