NFL Odds are heating up as we head down the stretch run of the season. Tonight’s game might not be that desirable to watch, but there are some nice prop odds that I will add to my NFL Picks.

Mychal Rivera TD Scored
One of the loan bright spots for the Raiders in this winless season has been the recent play of young tight end, Mychal Rivera. While last week was a little bit of a down week, it was a down game offensively for both clubs, and should probably be written off. However in the two weeks prior to last, Rivera has become one of Derek Carr’s favorite targets, and his value to score a touchdown tonight is through the roof at +187 in the NFL odds.

In his last three games, Rivera has been targeted by Carr 24 times, and in his two prior games to last week’s against the Chargers, he has hauled in all three of his touchdowns on the season. On top of that, the Chiefs have given up eight touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season, which is tied for fourth most through 11 weeks. It’s all there again tonight for Rivera to have a big game.

Free NFL Prop Pick: Rivera TD Scored (+187)

Alex Smith O/U 218 ½ Passing Yards
Alex Smith and the Chiefs will likely control this game from the ground. When you have Jamaal Charles going up against one of the league’s worst run defenses, you’d be foolish not to run the ball with him and Knile Davis close to 40 times tonight. However the Raiders’ secondary has been vulnerable at times this season too, and with all of the attention Charles will be garnering away from Smith and the passing game, there’s a nice chance that Smith could go over this total.

Even though he has only gone over tonight’s total four times this season, and even though he hasn’t touched 200 passing yards in his last three games, tonight’s opponent gives the Chiefs an excellent opportunity to throw the ball. Receivers will likely be in single coverage all game, and even though they have been disappointing last week, a bounce back game from Travis Kelce and Dwayne Bowe could help this total go over.

Free NFL Prop Pick: Smith OVER 218 ½ pass yards (-115)

Chiefs to Win Both Halves
This one is more of a speculation pick, but as we know with the NFL odds favoring the Chiefs at -7 ½ points, there is a chance the Chiefs could win this game running away tonight. These Thursday night games have been prone to blowouts this season, and even though recently they’ve been better that could change tonight out on the West coast.

In six of their ten games so far this season, the Chiefs have lost both halves in six of them, and on a short week against a team with a vicious pass rush, the Raiders might be left kicking field goals once again. Since Week 7, the Raiders have scored a grand total of two first half touchdowns, and as long as the Chiefs can play a complete game and not let the Raiders get much garbage time on the back end of this game, I see this prop at +137 cashing in for us tonight as part of our NFL picks.

Free NFL Prop Pick: Chiefs win both halves (+137)
