The Raiders opened up as 4.5-point favorites at home and the NFL odds have moved to -5, even though the Raiders are coming off a loss. They were beaten 30-20 at home by Green Bay and QB Derek Carr threw two more picks. The Raiders seem to go as he goes as Carr has thrown 17 touchdowns with a single pick in their wins, but in losses, Carr has thrown 13 touchdowns and 10 picks. The Chargers beat Miami 30-14 in what might be their final game in San Diego, and it was a highly emotional game for the players and fans alike. QB Philip Rivers threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns, all to RB Danny Woodhead, and even though he was picked off twice, that didn't matter. The two met back in Week 7 with the Raiders winning 37-29 in San Diego, but the Chargers needed to score 23 points in the fourth quarter to make it close. Carr threw for three touchdowns and so did Rivers, but he was picked off twice and needed 58 pass attempts. This will also be the final game in Oakland for S Charles Woodson, who said he is retiring after this season.

Injuries
The Chargers put RB Melvin Gordon on the injured-reserve list with torn knee ligaments, and they're aiming to get him ready for next season. If the Chargers are going to move to Los Angeles, they'll have Rivers, and they'll want Gordon and WR Keenan Allen to be healthy as well.

T Austin Howard is on the injured-reserve list for the Raiders with a knee injury, while WR Seth Roberts left the Green Bay game with an abdominal strain.

Trends
San Diego is 6-8 ATS this season, going 4-2 ATS on the road, while the Raiders are 7-7 ATS and 2-5 ATS at home. The total for this game is set at 47, and the Raiders have gone over eight times, along with two pushes. The Chargers have gone under nine times.

The Chargers are 6-4 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Raiders, who are 2-8 SU and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 at home against San Diego.
