Three Teasers to Add to Your Week 4 NFL Picks

It’s once again time for another week of NFL teasers, and it’s hard to believe that after this week we will be almost a quarter of the way through the season.

With bye weeks starting, there isn’t as many teams to chose from, but I think I have still found three, two-team teasers with good value. All of these teasers are six points, and all payout -110 at most sportsbooks.

Giants & Steelers
Because of the shorter week, we have to incorporate the Thursday night game into the equation. Even though the Redskins looked a lot better with Kirk Cousins under center, the New York Giants looked pretty good this past week as well. Rashad Jennings rushed for 176 yards this past week against the Texans, and Eli Manning finally had a good game, throwing for 234 yards, two touchdowns and no picks. On a short week, the Redskins defense will be worn down, and it will be enough for the Giants to stay within single digits.

The Steelers are playing at home this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and teasing them down from -7 to -1 seems like a no brainer. Even though they played very well in Carolina thia past week, they are being undervalued slightly by the sportsbooks. The Panthers’ special teams gave away a few scores, but the Steelers still played well, and they should have no issues beating the Bucs.

NFL Pick: Giants +9 ½ & Steelers -1

Bears & Chargers
Even though I picture the Bears’ defense looking like a World War 1 infirmary ward, they are still only a slight home underdog to the Green Bay Packers this week in the NFL Odds. Green Bay hasn’t been playing that good either, and if the Bears can continue to play solid defense even with a very banged up secondary, they will have value here. Teasing them up to +7 ½ at home looks like a great number considering it covers both three and seven point spreads.

For the Chargers, they should have little issues beating up on the Jaguars, however if Jacksonville starts Blake Bortles this week, it might decrease the value just a little. However either way, teasing the Chargers down to -7 should be a good play. Their defense is still good enough to slow down the Jaguars’ offense, and playing at home against a young team that has to travel across the country should make them a great play.

NFL Pick: Bears +7 ½ & Chargers -7

Raiders & Eagles
The Raiders still have not won a game, but they are a +4 NFL Odds underdog at home this week against the Dolphins, and teasing them up to +10 is one of my favorite teaser plays of the week. The Raiders’ defense looked very good this past week on the road against the Patriots, and the Dolphins will pose less of a threat. I doubt the Dolphins are able to cover -10 on the road against any team, so tease up Oakland.

The Raiders are only one of my favorites this week, because the Eagles are by far my favorite teaser play. At +11 ½ their value irs through the roof against the 49ers this week. Even though they are on the road, the Eagles are severally undervalued here, mostly because of how overvalued the Niners are.  This is a game the Niners might lose outright, so teasing the undefeated Eagles up to +11 ½ is almost easy money.
