Ed Feng and professor Ryan Rodenber debate the future of regulated sports betting and it's future in the United States.

Our buddy Ed Feng of The Football Analytics Podcast, recently sat down with Ryan Rodenber, Associate Professor in the Department of Sport Management at Florida State University, to discuss the legalization of sports betting in the United States.

Listen in as they cover the current legal status of sports betting, as well as the upcoming US Supreme Court decision on the New Jersey case.

Ryan also discusses why the NBA openly supports sports betting, yet the league looks to stall the New Jersey efforts.

All in all, this is a great listen for those of us looking to learn more on the subject, but lack the law degree to decipher all of the legal jargon getting tossed around by those looking to sound smarter than they actually are (Legal Sports Report… yes we are talking about you).

Enjoy, and find Ed Feng on twitter @thepowerrank or at his site
