We are officially in the second half of the NFL season as of this week, and with that comes another great set of prop betting options from bet365. I have combed through their current team prop options, and I have three plays to add to your NFL picks this week.

New York Jets O/U 26.5 Points
New York is playing host to the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, and even with a total of only 42 points, the Jets are poised to put up some points this week. Even with the thumb injury to Ryan Fitzpatrick’s non-throwing hand, the Jets are balanced enough on offense at home to really put some points on the board this week. Another big factor for the Jets offense this week is the return of Nick Mangold, who practiced earlier in the week and is considered probably for this one. Mangold is by far the Jets best offensive lineman, and with him back in the fold this week protecting Fitzpatrick, as well as opening up some holes for the run game, the Jets might get to 30 points this week, let alone just the 27 needed to cash the over on this one. Take the over with the Jets and add it to your NFL picks for Week 9.

NFL Pick: OVER 26.5 points (-120)

Carolina Panthers O/U 21.5 Points
The Panthers are another team that might be getting undervalued by bet365 just a bit this week, but for different reasons. The Panthers play host to the Packers this week, in what should be one of the better games of the week. The national television schedule is absolute garbage, but there are others including this one that should bring great theater, and great NFL betting value. The Packers’ defense is good, but the Panthers might win the rushing yards battle this week when it’s all over, and if that’s the case I like the over with Carolina as well. The Packers are allowing an average of 128 rushing yards per game to their opponents this season, and I expect the Panthers to be on the high side of that. With only two touchdowns and three field goals needed, or three touchdowns and one field goal, I like the Panthers’ chances this week on offense.

NFL Pick: OVER 21.5 points (-110)

Raiders vs. Steelers O/U 5.5 TDs
Finally this week the Raiders and Steelers hook up in Pittsburgh this week, and with Ben Roethlisberger back, but with Le’Veon Bell gone, I think these two teams and their offenses are also being undervalued this week. DeAngelo Williams is going to fill in nicely for the Steelers, and against a team like the Raiders, he should have no problem going for 100 total yards this week. As long as that’s happening, Roethlisberger should be lighting it up, so four touchdowns is not out of the question for the Pittsburgh offense this week. On the other side, Derek Carr and the Raiders are no longer slouches, and with a nice, young passing and running game, the Raiders could easily get to two or three touchdowns in this one and make it a game. The NFL odds for this one are at 48 points, which would mean almost seven touchdowns total. I think both can combine for six this week.

NFL Pick: OVER 5.5 TDs (+100)
