There are only five weeks of the regular season left, and with only a short time remaining before the playoffs, it’s time to buckle down and increase the profit-making machine. That means another set of team prop NFL picks from bet365 from yours truly.

Baltimore Ravens O/U 17.5 Points
Last week under the first full game of Matt Schaub as the starting quarterback, the Ravens put up 33 points against the Browns, which was capped off with an incredibly Browns-like play of getting a game-winning field goal blocked and returned for a touchdown to lose the game. Even though the Ravens benefited from a blocked field goal return touchdown, as well as a punt return touchdown to begin the game, the Dolphins’ defense isn’t anything to get excited about, and I could easily see the Ravens putting up points again this week. The weather in Miami Sunday might have some rain and thunderstorms, but the winds look moderate at best, and there is also a chance the rain could subside some to start the game. With the Dolphins giving up 29 points per game in their last six games, even the banged up Ravens can score into the low 20s this week.

NFL Picks: OVER 17.5 points (-120) at bet365

Houston Texans O/U 17.5 Points
Similarly to the Ravens, the Texans are on the road in Buffalo this week, and while the weather looks somewhat nasty in Miami, ironically it’s the weather in Buffalo that might be perfect for football. It’s supposed to reach 50 degrees and be partly cloudy with no wind for this game, and with the Texans defense dominating, I could see the Houston offense getting a few more chances this week. Another big factor is whether the Texans defense can show up on the road. Outside of their big win against the Bengals on the road a few weeks ago, NFL odds makes know that the Texans defense has given up 34 points per game on the road this season. A breakdown against the Bills could lead to Brian Hoyer throwing the ball more too, and some more points on the board as well. Outside of a dominating performance by the Bills defense, almost all of the game scripts point to the Texans getting to the 20-point mark this week as well. Take the over with your NFL picks.

NFL Picks: OVER 17.5 (-120)

Eagles vs. Patriots O/U 5.5 TDs
Finally this week, the Patriots will look to blow off some steam after losing their first game of the season last week, and they get to do it against the league’s current largest dumpster fire, the Eagles. Philadelphia has given up 45 points in back to back weeks, and even with a banged up Patriots team coming into town this week, I find it hard to believe that the Eagles are going to hold Tom Brady to less than three or four offensive touchdowns. If Philly can just muster up two TDs this week, it might be enough for the over to cash. New England is still undefeated at home, and their offense looks like it can best anyone, especially the Eagles. I expect six or seven total touchdowns in what could be a high scoring game if the Eagles can stop sucking on offense. The weather looks clear and the points should be plentiful.

NFL Picks: OVER 5.5 (-120)
