Swinger remains white hot down the stretch winning both selections last week and currently 9-1-1 in his NFL picks over the last four weekends of football.  Let's see if he can keep the money train rolling.

Swinger's Record (31-21-2, +19.2 units) *Each wager is graded from 1 to 5 units*

Of course I am thrilled that we are tearing it up late in the season after finally getting a read on what team's are made of but I can't help gnash my teeth that it just took me too long this season to get going. We were never really struggling, just kind of coin flipping. Heads one week to make a few bucks and tails the next blowing back the few bucks we made the week before.

But rather than bemoan the fact that we were hovering around .500 most of the year, let's celebrate our victories. We had two last week and they were both totally awesome. Yes, you guessed it, they were both totals as I believed the sides were just too tough to call and looking at the scores where the margin of victory in three of the four games was two points or less, I guess I was right. We scored with a pair of Unders in both the Saints/Eagles game (3 units) and the Niners/Packers tilt (4 units).

But that was then and this is now. Let's get back to business and put some more of your man's dough in our suddenly bulging pockets with our NFL picks.

Saints vs. Seahawks

The Saints are a different team away from their Dome as evidenced by their 4-5 straight up record and 2-7 ATS mark on the highway. Conversely they went 8-0 and 7-1 against the number in NFL odds at home.  And I want you to let all the squares talk about how they're a different team now they beat Philly on the road last week as three-point pups. Let them gab it up and bet this all the way down to seven if possible.

We, on the other hand, will cast our lot with the virtually invincible (at home anyway) Seattle Seahawks.  Look, the Hawks are the odds-on-favorite to win the Super Bowl and there's a good reason for that - they're very bleepin' good. Reports out of Seattle confirm that the supremely talented Percy Harvin will be suiting up for just the second time this season after suffering a hip injury.  If you believe the hype, it has been vintage Harvin in practice over the last two weeks, hauling in everything tossed his way.  What makes his timing even better is that Saints top cornerback Keenan Lewis suffered a concussion last Saturday which may impact his effectiveness this week.

Seattle is one of the worst venues for opposing teams to play and the Saints will find that this Seahawks team brings a lot more talent and heat than the Eagles team they defeated last week.

I wish this point spread was south of 7 but we'll just reduce our unit size and still lay the lumber.  Play the Seahawks -8 for 3 units at Bet365.com.

Total - Colts vs. Patriots

The only thing that scares me about this total is that it's too low.  Andrew Luck will be passing early and often right from jump street.  They know they won't be able to climb out of a 28 point deficit in Foxboro.  The Colts quick tempo will force Tom Terrific and the Patriots to go more to the air than to the menacing LeGarrette Blount grounding and pounding his way up and down the field.  It's gonna be a shootout kids.

Chargers vs. Broncos

The Bolts have already beaten the Broncos this season as nine-point dogs in NFL odds when they traveled to Mile High in early December.  San Diego's defense has gotten markedly better since the return of stud linebacker Melvin Ingram and the injection of safety Jahleel Addae  into the starting lineup.

The Chargers have not lost by more than 10 points to anyone this season and without Von Miller for the Broncos pressuring Phillip Rivers we believe this will be a shootout that will allow San Diego to hang around with plenty of points being scored in the process.

Play San Diego +10 (-130, yes I am buying a full point) for 4 units at Bet365.com

Play Over 54 for 2 units at WilliamHill.com in your NFL picks.

The Woodman's Corner (11-7, +3.3 units) - Guest Handicapper

The Woodman refused to disappoint his disciples in consecutive weeks and got back on track with the San Francisco 49'ers winning and covering by that all important hook over the Packers at Lambeau.

But this week he returns to his underdog lovin' roots and cannot ignore what the oddsmakers are giving him.  He wants to see the Saints go marching right into the NFC Championship game.  Woodman advises a play on New Orleans +8 in your NFL picks at Bet365.com.
