When you consider NFL Futures odds, the Seattle Seahawks & Denver Broncos are still at the top at 4/1 & 17/4, respectively, but then there's a major dropoff. It's time for us to place our bets.

Best Value NFL Futures Bets

Dallas Cowboys 28/1
It's not even close at this price. The Cowboys are a downright steal. I'm looking at the NFL odds and the New Orleans Saints, who are lucky to be a 2-3 football team, are listed at 25/1. Odds makers are either tempting bettors to take the 4-1 Cowboys or expecting them to flop like they have in the past. Dallas sports the best running back in the league in DeMarco Murray and he's having an MVP-like season. Murray has rushed for 100 yards or more in every game this season and has scored a touchdown in 4 out of the 5 games. Look out for this team.

Green Bay Packers 10/1
I don't know if the Pack is capable of winning it all, but at 10/1 odds, they're worth consideration with Aaron Rodgers, who some widely consider the best quarterback in the NFL, leading the way. Jordy Nelson has been playing out of this world and if Eddie Lacy can step it up a bit, this team is a threat.

New England Patriots 10/1
Up until last week, you could've said 25/1 and people wouldn't be interested, but after a Patriots blowout of the previously undefeated Cincinnati Bengals, the Pats are back in the conversation. Any team with Tom Brady on it has a chance to win the Super Bowl. This is one of the most competitive football players of all time and last week Brady showed that he's not to be taken lightly. Rob Gronkowski is starting to return to his old form and the combination of Steven Ridley and Shane Vereen at running back is a nice blend as options for Brady to look for.

San Francisco 49'ers 12/1
This is the same team that lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl 2 seasons ago and actually should've won then and are a better team than the Ravens now. For some reason, talent hasn't translated into wins for this team. Colin Kaepernick has a ton of receiving options to look for and can run the football himself and the Niners also have a very stingy defense. These odds are very appealing. This team will be in the post-season and could create havoc.

Overrated in Futures Odds Markets

New Orleans Saints 25/1
At the beginning of the season, I would've thought that these odds were spot on, but the Saints had to make a late game comeback last week to avoid a 1-4 season. Drew Brees and company managed to do so, but they're not going anywhere despite talents such as Jimmy Graham at the tight end position.

Super Appealing in NFL Futures Odds

Atlanta Falcons 66/1
I know that this team doesn't play well away from home, but with a possible chance at the post-season and an upset or two, these odds are super-appealing.

Matt Ryan is an above average NFL quarterback and has players such as Julio Jones and Roddy White to throw the football to. The Falcons also have acquired Devin Hester this season and Hester has made an immediate impact with his ability to play special teams and wide receiver. I'm not saying that the Falcons will win the Super Bowl, but along with Dallas, Atlanta is another football team with a superb price to take a risk on with you NFL picks.

I already mentioned Denver and Seattle at the beginning of this piece and they both will be there at the end. Even though the Broncos lost in Seattle a couple of weeks ago, it was a moral victory as they made a comeback and I wouldn't expect to see another blowout in the Super Bowl if these to teams faced eachother again.
