The Rams and Bengals are just days away from squaring off in the Super Bowl. The prop markets are continuing to evolve, especially those tied to wide receivers. Let’s take a look at the top Tee Higgins prop bets.

Top Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey will likely focus on Ja’Marr Chase on Sunday after the Bengals wideout was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year. That will probably leave cornerback Darious Williams to defend Higgins, which could be a size mismatch. The five-foot-nine and 187-pound corner will be asked to slow the six-foot-four and 215-pound Higgins.

The second-year receiver used that size while racking up 1,091 yards and six touchdowns in 2021-22 during his rise to become the Bengals' de facto WR2. Much of his success has come in the second half of the campaign, with the Clemson product getting more looks while Chase faces double-teams.

Being second on the depth chart comes with perks, especially when Higgins gets to avoid shutdown corners like Ramsey. That will create Super Bowl prop opportunities to pounce on Sunday.

Here are the top Higgins prop bets for Super Bowl 56 (odds via BetMGMCaesars, and DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

What are Player Prop Bets?

Typically, player props include a specific number with a total, and the bettor must predict whether the prop will land Over or Under the projected line.

Prop bets are a fun way to get action on the game without necessarily needing to pick a side. The wagers are often a more sustainably profitable endeavor than betting on the game's outcome.

Higgins Super Bowl Props

Under 5.5 receptions (+110)

The Rams have allowed only two wide receivers to log five-plus receptions over three playoff games. They're done an adequate job of forcing the opposition to spread the ball around.

Higgins also made his presence felt during the past two postseason rounds with a combined 199 yards on 13 receptions, so expect a renewed defensive focus on him.

Under 24.5 longest reception (-110)

Higgins lacks breakaway speed. There were only seven regular-season games when his longest reception exceeded 24 yards.

The Rams have been limiting big plays during the playoffs, with just three wide receivers breaking off a reception for over 21 yards against them. Their safeties will keep Higgins in check.

First touchdown scorer (+1200)

Higgins has accumulated 209 receiving yards during the 2022 postseason while leading the team in yards per catch, but he has yet to find the end zone. The pass-catcher will likely get plays drawn up for him early as the Bengals try to exploit the question marks in the Rams' secondary.

If Cincinnati gets the ball first and finds the red zone, Higgins will be a primary focus. He scored six regular-season touchdowns, four of which came in the red zone.

Top Higgins Prop Bet

Over 68.5 receiving yards (-115)

The game plan against the Bengals this postseason has been simple: Load up on Chase and deal with the consequences. And there have been plenty of consequences.

Higgins is averaging 69.7 yards per game during the playoffs. Also, the Rams have allowed four 69-plus-yard receiving outings over the last two rounds. The Bengals will likely be playing from behind too, leading to more opportunities for Higgins.
