Opening Odds & Line Movement
Open: -6.5 +101 at Pinnacle
The Cardinals opened up as 6.5-point favorites at home, then the NFL odds dipped to -6, back to -6.5, then a solid touchdown. There are still people that don't believe the Cardinals are this good as they've played New Orleans, Chicago and San Francisco, and two of those three games were at home. The Rams have played Seattle, Washington and Pittsburgh (although Ben Roethlisberger got hurt in that game), which is a much tougher slate of games. But as usual, the Arizona defense isn't getting the credit they deserve as everyone marvels at the offense, which is predicated on deep throws. Arizona is fifth in the league defensively, and the Rams are dead last offensively.

Injuries
The two big names to miss practice on Wednesday for the Rams were LB James Laurinaitis and Kenny Britt, with the latter having a sore shoulder, while Laurinaitis was given the day off. Both are expected to play, but Britt is really the one to watch.

For the Cardinals, the only player not to practice was WR J.J. Nelson with a shoulder injury. There were a few players that were limited, such as WR John Brown (shoulder), RB Andre Ellington (knee), G Mike Iupati (knee) and LB Alex Okafor (shoulder). Ellington didn't play against the 49ers, but the Cardinals still ran for 139 yards, so they're not going to rush him back.

Trends
The Rams have covered just once in their last six games, while the Cardinals have covered in four of their ast five. St. Louis is also 4-8 ATS in their last 12 on the road, while Arizona is 8-1 ATS in their last nine at home. Keep an eye on the total, which opened at 43 and has slid to 42, as the Rams have gone under in five of their last seven, while the Cardinals have gone over in five of their last six.

The Cardinals are 6-4 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Rams, who are 4-6 both SU and ATS in their last 10 trips to Arizona.
